Transferring names?

Looking to buy a rare name, but I want a safe way to do so. Does the old method's still work (change name to inappropriate), wait 35 days, wait 28 days and then change again...

It is incredibly difficult to transfer a name without it getting sniped. The best method that I know about is to change the name, wait 30+ days, have both accounts logged in on both browsers ready to accept the name change instantly. People have written scripts to snipe rare names, I haven't tried transferring a name in about a year and a half.

 

So super rare 2 letter names will 99% be sniped?

 

If people know what name it is and know that you're trying to transfer it then maybe.

 

2 Letter names are more apt to get sniped than a longer OG.

So then if I wanted a super rare name on my main then is risk too high to even buy and waste my money?

 

I bougth 2 letter names in the past and all got sniped, its nearly impossible to snipe 2 letter names, I would not waste the money on them.

 

I assume you mean transfer.

But yeah, the only way to acquire rare names now is to get one from a Jmod, or snipe one.

 

I owned Wild for a few years.
Got it sniped in under the 10 seconds it took to relog. (this was around when it came out and I didn't know people could get them so quick)

Shit sucks. Didn't even try selling, just wanted on a new account.

What if you had an autoclicker sniping your own name? Is it just luck of the draw who snipes it first? Someone who was selling a name has a trusted friend selling a guide that is "foolproof" on PA.

 

I doubt it's an autoclicker, as much as it is a script. Basically able to check the name and login within a second to click.

It's likely more advanced than just a clicker.

As for the "foolproof" guide, AFAIK, the dual browser method is about as close as you'll get to "foolproof".

 

i'd do the reporting your name method changing it right away, make name avail.

 

Autoclicking for a name gets the account autobanned very, very quickly. People run scripts that detect when the name is available and get it instantly.

 

how do they know its autoclicking a name? are they using change name or using create a name?
