What has Runescape taught you?

Amen ahhaah. Or be selective when choosing friends would be a better way to put it.

Very applicable to intro microeconomics. Supply / Demand schedules etc.

 

I think one of the most important things RuneScape taught me is how to type really fast.

 

Haha and this for sure. It has boosted my wpm drastically.

 

About trusting others, learning some words that are uncommon for people my grade to know when I was in grade school... That's what runescape taught me.

 

-Improved my speed and ability to type.
-Made me slightly more tech savy.

 

-improved typing speed
-Not everyone is going to be nice/be trustworthy
-learned more about technology because i invested time into learning Sony Vegas, PS, etc etc due to rs videos,graphics w/e..

oh and it also taught me that it has the power to take away all my free time without me regretting it

 

When I was 13 I struggled with Mathematics and after 2 years of runescape I graduated with a A+ in Math. I really think it was runescape that carried me. It always had me doing constant math while I merchanted rune armor in the days lol

 

The main thing was it taught me patience and helped me with social skills.

 

You can trust no 1 on runescape and Im a God mercher I learned the market in 2010 after I got lured for 50m and since then I was always rich

 

English basics believe it or not, then i chose it as a foreign language at 10 years old, and now I'm here.

It taught me that willow trees grow by fresh water sources!!!

 

I haven't posted in awhile, nor been active in any RS related activities since 2010 or 11? Guess I'm feeling nostalgic and this post made me think about how much of an impact Runescape had on my life. As silly as that sounds.

I've always lacked communication skills growing up; but from joining and leading clans, meeting people while questing, training, or even chatting on IRC during the swiftswitch days my skills really developed.

The most important thing Runescape taught me though is general life skills that a lot of kids are lacking these days.

 

It taught me how to type fairly fast + how readily I should trust someone.

The game also taught me how persistent you need to be to reach certain goals (such as getting a 99).

 

I remember when I was about 8 or 9, I had a spelling test in school
The teacher asked us to spell the word 'Strength'
All my classmates attempted to spell it in ways such as 'Strenth' and 'streant' but since I played runescape I could perfectly spell it!

 

It taught me that most people on the internet are idiots.

 

Runescape taught me that life goes by pretty fast and if you keep worrying about being the best level at something, you'll miss out on all the fun low level adventures.

(Don't rush through life, lol)
