    Swapped with someone else?

    Hey,

I just logged onto Sythe with the discovery I've been banned for some dicing related issues?

    http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1697987-flamedog-dicing-scammer.html

I have nothing to do with this, I do very much believe the picture is forged or it features some sort of username like 'Flamedog' with a capital 'i'. I haven't had any conversation with this player whatsoever nor have I diced in the last 3 months

    Please look into this

    Regards,
    Flamedog

The ban was applied on the post, so there is no mix-up with users. The only other explanation would be that your Sythe account was compromised, if in fact you are telling the truth. In that case, seeing as your Sythe account is your responsibility; you still owe the users in question what was scammed.

User BNBlitz's Skype is bnblitz.sythe - let us know when you've repaid him and we will continue the investigation from there.

As my previous thread got locked and i obviously want to reply:

@roary: i cant find any reason whatsoever that mightve compromised my account. Please do your job and have a look at the ip's linked to the date of the scam or any sort of recovery actions. Im curious where its from and how they cracked a password just like that, i hope it isnt possible to brute force it in any way.

One thing is for sure: i aint repaying anything to the scammed person because i have no affiliation with him whatsoever.

I'd like to be able to login into my account and check the private messages myself.

It would be a shame to rip a $25 donator and member since 2007 of his 'compromised' account.

Sorry Roary but i don't see an opportunity to respond otherwise:

can I at least have evidence that those PM's were sent instead of a lousy thread with a vague image with 1 reference to 'Flamedog' which couldve targeted anyone? (http://oi58.tinypic.com/migdw2.jpg

that includes being able to view this thread:
    http://www.sythe.org/donor-lounge/1696600-official-donor-lounge-dice-thread-post-here-24.html (cant access this)

As I already stated: I do not owe 'BNBlitz' anything, I will not consider any form of recompensation for this joke.

How is it possible that a regular user who joins Sythe every now and then gets ripped of their account and banned because Sythe.org couldn't accomodate a safer way to authenticate? (pardon me from blaming the site but I'm positive I haven't lost my credentials anywhere)

P.S.: am I able to apply for a pardon?

Dont come back until you refund victims. You're responsible for your Sythe account.
Feel free to ask for pardon, however keep in mind refunding all victims who got scammed by your mistakes is an requirement.
    Dispute is denied

How can it be my mistake when someone logs in on my acount? My password was rocksolid, it's very unlikely i've been spoofed since I know more than enough about ICT/webprogramming.

It's like murdering someone with another guy's gun; how can the owner of that gun be held accountable?

It's obvious that I didn't have to do anything with this. You're helding 'the account' responsible which contradicts the rule of ban evading. You would re-ban the evading person on a new account for the same offense but you would not un-ban me for an offense I didn't make.

It's sad cause I've been here such a long time, even took the liberty of donating $25 to this site and I have been aiding in the graphics section every now and then. Next up some random dude magically manages to login to my account and scam a guy for a ~10m 07.

You bet people are gonna try hard to log into Arcus Isidar's account and scam under his name. The odd thing is that you even offer an un-ban when the player in question gets refunded (buying your way out of death row?).

I don't believe I originally signed up (2007) under these rules. Nor have I ever explicitly agreed to amends

This was the last post I'll ever make here. I dont agree with this case at all but it seems the decision has already been made.

    I guess thats it,
    Bye Sythe!

Regardless it was your accounts that were compromised, which caused someone to get scammed. do what the other mods have told you then come back to appeal.

    Doesnt matter
When I got hacked I had to refund nearly $1K and I didnt even say it was not my fault, you're responsible for it. It doesnt matter if you're highly trusted user or newcomer. Scam took place on your account and you are responsible for it. Why dont you enable twofactor? It's available for FREE and it works as 2nd password which changes every minute, is it that difficult? Mistakes happen and when you'll enter adult life you'll need to be responsible for things that count on your responsibility
