    More images:
    Warriors Guild is now fixed. Properly drops Defenders (with a 20% chance) and Cyclopses have proper drops.
    Fixed the login issue which some players were experiencing.
    Fixed the region clipping system. Could still use some work to be honest but it will do for now.
    Adjusted all experience rates for all skills, should be fine now.
    Fixed the Rune/Pure essence mine, players couldn't walk around in there.
    Modified the amount of experience a player would receive from Nomad's Zeal shop for the following skills: Prayer, Slayer to 20.000 instead of 60.000, it was simply too much for those skills.
    Made Gnome Agility Course give 3 Agility tickets instead of 1. Will buff the other courses this weekend.
    Added up to Dragon hatchets/pickaxes in their proper skilling master's shop.
    Made Firemaking properly clip and not walk through objects.
    Added H.A.M Camp training option in Thieving teleports (requires level 20 Thieving)!
    Added a Crystal chest in Explorer Jack's house.
    Made Crystal key's examination say that it unlocks a mysterious chest found in Explorer Jack's house.
    Fixed three dupes. One was with arrows/bolts and one was with trading/duel. The third one was with dropping an item then spamclicking it to retreive multiple copies of it. Honestly, I don't think there are any more to be found.
    Fixed a bank issue; when a player would withdraw more than three unstackable items with a full inventory, it would spawn them all on the ground.
    Fixed the trade issue where it kept closing once you clicked on the accept button.
    Made players able to forge Crystal keys.
    Made players able to forge Dragonfire shields with a Crafting level of at least 85.
    Made players able to forge Dragon Square shields with a Crafting level of at least 65.
    Made players able to forge Spirit shields with proper requirements taken from Runescape's wiki page (can't list them all here!).
    Fixed the Recipe for Disaster chest (Culinaromancer's chest).
    Nerfed the Barrows minigame reward. The amount of runes you received was ridiculous.
    Made players able to fix broken Barrows equipment by talking to the odd man which is walking around on the hills.
    Made broken Barrows equipment untradeable and unsellable.
    Made most Donator items (Partyhats, H'weens) unsellable to make sure no money is added into the economy from donations. You can still sell these items to players!
    Fixed Slayer tower.
    Added Slayer tower teleport to Slayer skill options.
    Increased the amount of npc's to kill for Slayer tasks.
    Fixed tons of prices for potions runes, misc drops and more.
    Fixed the null drop from Tormented demons.
    Added the lady from Duel arena to home.
    Made the lady from Duel Arena to sell more potions.
    Wrote a SQL system to handle our Webshop. Also then later added a Highscores system which uses this system. The system has a fail-safe. If the server is unable to create to the highscores, it will reattempt up to 5 times. If it continues to fail, it will completely turn the system off until the server is restarted.
    Made Pest control give 10 Commendations instead of 5 to promote it.
    Made players who are inactive in Pest control not receive any points.
    Made costumes from the Loyalty shop untradeablle and unsellable.
    Fixed an issue where NPC's with longer walk distances than 1 would still follow you and get next to you in Melee distance.
    Added Member rank features.
    Players suggested the following commands: 'changepassword', 'resetattack', 'resetstrength', 'resetdefence', 'resetranged', 'resetmagic', 'resetprayer', 'resetconstitution' and they have all been added.
    Fixed tons of dialogues. Added more proper animations etc.
    Being able to use Prayers below the level requirements should be fixed now.
    I'm actually pretty sure we did more than this, I just cannot remember more... I don't have the greatest memory .


    Mining has been completely rewritten. Now has a good formula for delays etc.
    Woodcutting has been completely rewritten. Uses same formula as for Mining. Now has stump support.
    Grounditem system has been completely rewritten because the old one was so buggy. It's now easier for us to optimize grounditems aswell.
    Items kept on death system has been rewritten. It should now be saving your three most valuable items.
    While we were fixing items kept on death, we figured that it is stupid to take up one of your kept items slot with an untradeable item, so from this patch and on, ALL UNTRADEABLE ITEMS ARE KEPT ON DEATH AUTOMATICALLY. They will appear in your inventory after death along with other possible kept items.
    If you die in Barrows, all your items will be lost (except for the ones you will keep) and a gravestone WILL NOT SPAWN. The player is given a warning-dialogue upon teleporting there.
    I heard all the complaints about people having a hard time finding a bank, so we spawned a bunch of them at home. Please give us your opinion about how it looks.
    A bug was causing Diamond members not to receive the Infinity Prayer feature from the Platinum rank, this has been fixed.
    Buffed the amount of XP a player is given from Slayer tasks by Vannaka (still haven't added any other masters).
    Dharok's armour effect has been nerfed and adjusted to fit the Runescape formula more.
    Guthan's armour effect has been added.
    NPC's now regenerate 100 health per second if not attacked for 4.5 seconds. They must be below their maximum Constitution though.
    Tons of prices were slightly modified.
    We took a close look at money-making methods and realised that Barrows was just too overpowered, so we've nerfed it down a bit. I hope people post their feedback about Barrows, we must make sure that it is balanced with skilling and other money making ways.
    There was also a new client release (V1.2) and it was a quick release because we wanted to change the cache host, because new players were saying it took too long to load. I also did the following updates;

    Changed the cache host. The new one should be faster.
    Fixed the Moderator & Helper crown with the new client.
    Fixed the Pest control Consumables interface with the new client. Still need to finish it, all I did was to add the buttons on the interface.
    Added a packet which allows us to change the player's plane, which we used to fix objects spawning on different heights than the one which the player is currently on (it was doing this once a player teleport to the Member's zone for example!).
    If a player attempts to login while the server is launching, they will get the following as an error message: "Desolace is currently launching, please try in half a minute.". This is to prevent players from logging in while server is launching, giving them a black screen which may lead to them restarting the client (since they think they're 'nulled').

    Achievement/task changes:
    Achievement interface fixed. It was showing up and then being closed immidetaly without players being able to read what's on them.
    Achievement task 8 can now be finished (Beginner, 'You can bank on us', in Lumbridge castle).
    Achievement task 7 can now be finished (Easy, 'Kill a cow for its hide.', in Lumbridge). Players were unable to go through the gate.
    Skill changes:
    Added a quick system for canceling skilling when players: Move, teleport and or interact in combat.
    Gem cutting has been updated. Should now work perfectly fine.
    Buffed Smithing XP.
    Buffed Slayer XP.
    Buffed Woodcutting XP.
    Buffed Fletching XP.
    Buffed Mining XP a bit (for higher level-requirement ores).
    Buffed Summoning XP a little bit. We want this skill to be one of these skills that help remove some money from the economy with the low experience rate and amount of valuable items required to train.
    Fixed some Smithing items, for example, 10 Bolts are now given instead of 1 when smithing bars above Bronze. It used to give 1.
    Herblore is now trainable. You can buy ingrdients from the Druid Spirit. Note: The shop only has items that cannot be gained ingame, for example: Limpwurt root is not in the shop because you can kill Hill giants for it. We want this to be a hard and tough skill due to the amount of money you can make from it.
    Fishing is now trainable.
    There are now 2 Bank chests in the house at the Piscatoris Fishing Colony.
    Woodcutting Bird nests can now be searched (Bird's egg will get price values added next patch).
    Lowered the amount of time it took to mine ore.
    Lowered the amount of time it took to cut some trees.
    Thieving master is now properly added.
    The Master's chest (Thieving) now grants 46 NOTED Mithril ores instead of unnoted ones.
    After alching an item, the client now sets the tab back to the Magic tab properly.
    Untradeable/unsellable items can no longer be alched.

    Equipment changes:
    Pantaloons & Void knight robe bottom have been fixed to go in their proper slot.
    Inventory changes:
    If you have a full inventory and are to receive an item, it will now properly spawn it in the ground. This was messed up since we changed the groundsystem in the last patch. It works now though.

    Economic/other changes:
    Ancient Effigies are now untradeable and unsellable.
    Almost every single item in the Member's shop is now unsellable and has a value of 0 coins. You can still trade these items but they show no value in trade!
    All Brackish Blades have been removed from the game and made unsellable & untradeable. Their price has been changed to one million coins and they can be bought from Nomad after completing his quest. The reason for this price change is because the weapon is stronger than a Abyssal Whip, which has a high price aswell.
    Minigame/Mini-Quest changes:
    Players should no longer lose items in Tzhaar Fight Caves or Tzhaar Fight Pits.
    Players can now go back and pick up their items if they die in Recipe for Disaster.
    All 'Consumable' rewards from Pest Control Rewards shop can now be bought and used properly.
    Pest Control now rewards a player with 3 Commendations per victory (instead of 10 which was way too much).
    The amount of effort a player must have in a Pest control game to be rewarded for a victory has been increased.
    Prayers/Curses changes:
    All Prayers & Curses now have proper requirements. They weren't using the * 10 system. Which means, a player was able to use Piety with level 7 Prayer instead of 70.
    Smite is now functioning properly. It had an issue when you were trying to toggle it off or on. Even when you didn't have the requirement for it.
    Clan chat changes:
    'Desolace' Clan chat has been disabled. We want to encourage people to create their own clan chat channels instead. However, the main reason for this is because it wasn't working too well. When all players on the server was in the same clan chat, it became like a yell channel.
    Teleport changes:
    Catherby teleport has been disabled (will be re-enabled in Desolace V1.3)
    Chaos Tunnels teleport has been disabled (will be re-enabled in Desolace V1.3).
    Loyalty Programme changes:
    The 'title-change' bug that was occuring when players were buying a costume has been fixed.
    Potion changes:
    Overload potions now properly deal 100 damage 5 times for a duration of 5 seconds.
    Super energy potions added to the game and they restore 40% energy.
    Mint cakes added to the game and they restore 100% energy.
    NPC(Non-player-character) changes:
    Some bosses were buffed because players were able to solo them too easily, when the idea of some of them were to be a team-boss.. We will monitor bosses very closely in the next few days to make sure the incomes for NPC-killing is not greater than other money-making ways.
    NPC's facing directions are now properly set when entering a new region.



    Pest control's core system has been rewritten because it was just horribly done and it was also consuming so much more recources than needed. Some players were even complaining about the lag that they were experiencing on the island.. This should now be working perfectly fine.
    I rewrote the Combat damage handler. Why? Because Defence levels weren't doing any difference to damage and when I was going to fix it, I decided to just rewrite the formula system. So I've spent 8 hours today redoing our formula-handling for every combat type but NPC vs NPC. This means that your Summoning familiar will only hit 0s till we finish adding a proper NPC vs NPC formula. Please note: We've modified every formula to make sure that Defence levels are properly inherited in the calculations, so please make sure to report any NPC's that have too high Defence levels. Also please go try PKing, box-dueling etc etc and give us feedback so that we can improve the combat system. It's really important for this to be perfect! Note2: The critical hit damage system should now be working properly. It should now show a critical icon when you do more or equal to 6% damage under your maxhit.
    We've moved the website to the dedicated server. There was a lot of disconnection issues today, and that's a rare thing on Desolace because our core server is very stable. Just want to let you guys know that the disconnections had nothing to do with the server, we were simply moving the website to our dedicated server so that we can host it ourselves and not having to be worried about our webhost messing up and giving us downtime.
    Some bosses were hardcore buffed to make sure that only teams can take them on.
    Some prices and NPC drops have been changed. For example, Brackish blade's price has been changed to 5 million coins to compensate for it's strength with the new combat damage formulas.
    Some bugs have been fixed. For example, players were unable to use Adamant armour on the Warrior guild animator.
    Dragonfire shield now requires 90 Smithing to forge, instead of 82 Crafting.

    This looks awesome for me, but the loader always gets stuck at 40% for fonts!
