Not sure how long it's been up, but I noticed the first season was on Netflix and decided to give it a go. It has it's cheesy, cliche, and predictable moments, but overall I found it to be entertaining. It seemed to me to be a bit of mindless television, in that I didnt find the plot or characters to be all that complex, although I'm hearing that the second season is much better in that regard. I may give this show another shot and try to catch up on the second season, but right now I give it a 6/10.

 

It definitely deviates from well-written episodes to cheesy as heck episodes. I think that's because there are so many writers + co-writers. It's hard to find any consistency when so many people have the final say in things. The second season does do a better job of combating the problems you pointed out. Though yeah, you'll still get some cheesiness.

 

How many episodes of the second season have aired? I may try to catch up tonight

 

A lot . It's another 23 episode season. I want to say 18 are done. Season 2 is pretty awesome though in my opinion.

So...idk, I feel like it was average and all over the place. Like next weeks promo is all about roy; which to me seems like they tried to rush this season as we're 2 episodes away from the finale, and things are just coming full circle.

The start of the season was extremely slow (however still entertaining/good), and the middle-now seems to be slightly rushed. Ah well, still good.

 

That ending. Holy jesus.

Arrow for me is a filler show - I watch it when theres nothing else to watch am im bored. Saying that I have high expectations when it comes to tv shows because I have no life But it is pretty good. and lets be honest Stephen Amell is a good looking man

 

I personally find it very entertaining. I also find the actors do a very good job (aside Luarel) of portraying their characters and emotions, and we as the audience are able to connect/empathise.

I agree though, it's not on the same level of TV shows such as House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad etc. However, all those TV shows plot and genre are completely different, which allows for them to blow our minds. Arrow follows an already existing comic, with already existing characters and said plot to follow. They cant expand far more, otherwise it wouldn't be true to itself.

 

Damn that ending was crazy! I personally loved this episode.

As a semi hardcore DC fan the links back to the comics are extremely inaccurate but I guess that's just the writers changing things up so a more general populated audience can enjoy the show...

Besides that the most recent episode was well done very interesting ending expecting a lot more cliff hangers as the last three episodes of the series air.

 

Tonight. I am really excited. Most excited I've been for an episode this season.

 

Thoughts on todays episode?

 

I enjoy this show. Plot is great even though it differs from comics, shows etc. Easy to follow and keeps you hooked.

 

The last two episodes are going to be guuuddd. Bets on Malcolm Merlyn returning to save Thea and join forces with Oliver in order to stop Slade. I assume Sarah will be back, aswell as Star Labs having an antidote ready for the Mirakuru.

 

I enjoyed it. Slade's army is cool lol. Liked the dialogue between Sebastian + Oliver.

 

Yerp. Was a good scene in the restaurant.
