First, make a scam report on him under the "Report a Scammer" section.

A mod or admin will then ban him, and then on paypal you can claim it as an "Unauthorized charge" and get the payment reversed.

Sorry you got scammed, it'll be relatively easy to get your money back though.

I'm not sure if this allowed so I would talk to a mod or higher to check on if this is allowed here since you're asking how to chargeback and chargingback can be a bannable offence..

Good luck, hope you get it figured out.

I am chargeing back after him getting banned of sythe for scamming so i don't see that as a problem. He never did my order so i don't know why i wouldn't have the right to chargeback.

    Thanks for your responses!

I think you can chargeback if there was no attempt to deliver your order, it most def should be. im not sure how it's done or if we're allowed to give out the details.

I called paypal earlier today and they said they couldn't do anything about a payment send as a gift.
Lesson learned, never pay as a gift i guess.

    No.

You can only claim it as unauthorized if he sent it from a different IP to his usual. Unauthorized claims are for those that credit card fraud/use stolen paypals/plan to chargeback, and won't work from ones normal IP.

Call PayPal, and or open a dispute.
