Hello everyone i have coded servers in my past. After losing the best server i have played i was pretty upset. So i decided to code my own server i know that there is leak version of ikov source. I am already make a 317 source with 502 items. I can run this server alone but it will be on and off due to me turning off my computer. You will be a co-owner but the source will not be shared. I will give you Owner Rank along with in game rank. I will also allow sponsors of the server if you wanna help. I'm not asking for donation's but if you wanna help then i will gladly thank you. I'm just done with playing a server i love and the owner be in it for the money it's time someone changes that and i am going to try my best.

Good luck guys, its not the coding thats hard.. Its the maintenance years ago i had a RSPS named Soul wrath some of you may remeber it.. Used to have an average of 250-650 players on all the time but my son was born real life was more important at the time so i closed the doors.

Bottom line is unless you are willing to put 90% of you're time into it.. don't bother.

Noble idea, but have you thought about the finer aspects of the business? Upfront model required for advertisements & payments to coders, programmers & whoever else is on the team. Player base & coverage, competition amongst the other already live RSPS's. Torva's is quite big already & many are flocking there, and unless you have amazing content & connections to pull players from there, it'll be a tough fight.

I have not created the server yet, I have the source and client on my computer. I wanna get a Domain and dedicated server before i launch it online.

It's already being developed and the staff members of Ikov are being re-directed and promoted on the new rsps.

 

Agree'd with this, obviously these new people who have never been in this business won't bother to know lol.
