That's the weird part. Idk why he is even advertising here. It's already advertised (with lots of negative feedback) over at bitcointalk. He's not even apparently selling these to people here either. But that coins is DEFINITELY a scam. So even if he is honestly trying to help Sythe members make money, it's not okay that he is doing so by inviting them to partake in fraudulent activities on other parts of the web.

 

No, a premine is an artificial mine boost to a coin where usually the first block or so many percent of the total cap of the coin is mined and distributed. Sometimes the premines are given out as incentives to adopt and sometimes it is given to those close to the developer for the hell of it.

Pump and dump is where people with a stake in the coin (usually holding a portion of the premine) will convince people to buy up the coins and artificially increase the price and then dump theirs while the coin looks hot. This will flood the market and crash the price while making early adopters money.

 

Jealousy is just love and hate at the same time. Coinking is CEO of Bit-Instant and millionaire. Bitcoin is anonymous and he will never be caught.

The scamcoins are easy to spot. They are almost always clones or almost identical to other coins like bitcoin, litecoin, quarkcoin (in the case of dimecoin), etc. They claim to have some new feature that will make them gain incredible value. On Bitcointalk forums, there will be a post about the new coin. Lots of new accounts (almost certainly owned by the creator of the coin) talk about how awesome it is, and how they want to buy the coins. So on so forth... Eventually the coins get on an exchange, and the owner/those close to the owner dump the coins that they premined to make a large profit at the expense of those unfortunate enough to buy the coins.

If you watched Wolf of Wall Street, it's just like that. Just over the internet minus the phones. It's basically selling crappy penny stocks.

EDIT: Also, some of the coins have malware in the wallets they use that are meant to steal your bitcoins and litecoins and other common coins. It's just a really good idea to stay away from this sort of stuff. You will not profit, and you will probably get hurt in some way or another.

EDIT2: The official website for dimecoin isn't even up anymore. The owner isn't paying for the domain anymore. Seems really legit ya know? But that's what they'll tell you on bitcointalk (that coin is sooooo legit)!

 

But you could easily say the same thing about Dogecoin so none of what you wrote counts. Its not about how awesome it is... its about how awesome your bank account will be after you buy these "scamcoins".

There's a difference between coins made as jokes and those that are made with the intent of scamming though.
