Think of what you could of bought IRL with that kind of money, then compare it to what you get out of spending it on pixels.

Total you've probably spent over 6k$ and what do you have to show for it?

Just think and stop it.

 

Try doing some outdoor activity. This isn't good because your spending all of your money on pixels and it becomes a habit. Be more social

 

Ive tried being social i go to the club i chill with the girls I do my job well but i mean i cant stop playing this god dam game its honestly more addicting then anything ive ever done in my life

Just take a step back and look at the thing you're actually addicted to.

Do you really want to be that guy that waste real life money in order to chase pixel wealth on runescape? It's not worth it.

First of all, you will never be satisfied. When you have little you want more, when you have alot you keep on going because; Hey, I already have a lot, might as well keep going.

I would advice you to sell some of your profits next time you stake, it puts things into perspective, at least it did that in my case when I started selling back in 2011.

 

What are you doing with all this gold? Staking it? Gambling it? or just keeping it.

I like having every item in rs+ every item in osrs and i just keep buying gold every time i get money saved up

spend money on what you enjoy. if you like games, spend money on them. I like my motorcycle so i prefer to spend money on maintenance / gas for riding that!

 

As Nicklaus says, $2000+ may seem like a lot on a game, but just look @ people who spend money on their cars. I have friends who spend over $5,000 a year just on their car.

If you feel like it is causing you stress, take a break. Try and regain control and regulate yourself. The best way to do so is to branch out and find some other hobbies. Join a dodgeball league or something. Just get out of the house even for an hour a day, and you will feel a LOT better about everything.

I got a better idea, try to invest if anything in gold? That way you'll make your irl profit back

 

Run a bot farm or try playing private server , i know how you feel , until you don't have over 1b or any significant amount you don't feel like playing right?

Trust me try a private server order 50b for like 50$ or something and then play on it you'll feel better.

 

Do you need your computer? Maybe store it away, give it your parents to store at a location you can't access or maybe even sell it or something.

This is good advice. If it's consuming you, then slow down. But if that's your hobby, spend some cash. Just don't spend so much.

I know it's hard, trust me.

 

Give yourself a weekly or monthly budget to spend on your gaming habits, and stick to the budget!
