Thieving

What's around for thieving these days? I imagine there must be something to get quick exp since most skills have been nerfed.

I'm 72, need 80 for now then ultimately 99. I know about Plunder; should I start that at 80 or wait?

 

Do the heist minigame to get lots bonus thieving experience. That in addition to doing pyramid plunder will get you 99 in no time.

It's basically a cops and robbers type of minigame. The robbers defend the loot, while the cops try to find the robbers. The minigame is broken because you can afk it, which makes it so good.

 

Start the quest Do no evil, get to the end where you can knockout monkey fighters.

300k xp/h and 600kif u got dbl xp bonus.,

70 thieve required

 

Only need 1M exp for now so I could do the monkeys, forgot about them.

What's the Heist exp? Is heist daily or unlimited?

 

It's a minigame so it's unlimited. The unofficial world is 2. You have to play the robber role if you want to use the points on thieving exp. The exp varies depending on your level. It's definitely not bad, and gets better as you level if you go back.

 

Pyramid plunder to 90, then do dwarf traders to 99. That's my advice. Dwarf traders gives slower than monkey knife fighters per hour but it's less tedious. All you have to do is click on the same spot over and over again.

Heist:

You need 2 accounts, your main account joins the robber team, your other account joins the guard team. You need a friend with two accounts as well.

Game starts once there are 2 players on each team.

Pickpocket a random NPC in order to get his/her disguise. Find the building with the chests in it. The building with chests is nearby the guard spawn so its clever to take a quick look at your other accounts minimap in order to get an idea of where the chests are.

You dont have to do anything with your other account, its only used to start the game, make sure it does not time out though (more than 5 min afk).

So ye, pickpocket a random NPC to get a disguise, find a chest and loot it, bring the loot back to the ship where you started at the beginning at the round and deliver it by talking with the npc on the ships deck.

Go back and loot another chest, bring it back to the ship but do not deliver it till the timer is at 15 min. Once the timer hits 15 min both you and your friend should deliver your 2nd loots, once its delivered you win the game.

Repeat.

Do some heist before you start plunder. Heist gives you bonus xp in thieving and is quite fun to obtain. Then start plundering and it'll feel so much quicker.

 

Plunder requires thinking, I'd prefer a more afky method just to get to 80 for now tbh
