Safest way to pay in case you get scammed?

Wanted to buy a main for $300 but the guy only has 1 post and I have heard charge backs often fail on paypal.

 

If you need to recover funds due to a scam PayPal is really your best option. Your actual best option is pay more for an account that won't be recovered but that's just my opinion.

 

PayPal. However, If I were you, I'd personally invest $150 into premium/private bot scripts, and bot an account to your desire, which will always be yours.

 

Like the others have said paypal will be the best method in your situation

 

Specifically, use a credit card-funded payment through paypal. Call your credit card provider if there's any trouble and you should have no trouble getting your money back. If you pay with a bank account or use a paypal balance, it will be much harder to chargeback

 

paypal but honestly i woudnt buy he could just recover once its impossible for you to chargeback theres like a 99% chance hell recover tbh

 

You should not buy the account at all, it will get recovered anyway.
Paypal would be your best bet if you decide to buy it anyway.

 

Please view the thread in my signature to avoid future problems. If you're paying him with your debit or the money in your bank account balance, then you should be able to chargeback if he does scam you. If you're using your paypal balance money, then you will be fucked. All he needs to do is transfer the money to his bank account so he can withdraw it. Chargeback or not, if he waits the right amount of time, he could have your money and his account back.

 

Simply put, don't buy the account. You probably won't be able to chargeback even if the person scams you. Try to find a safe seller or get some type of insurance by ordering it through PlayerAuctions just incase the guy recovers it later on. It's well known that over 90% of account sales on here are recovered. Not worth the risk or hassle in my opinion.
