You of all people should understand the difference between a technical admin and a general admin, you were on staff. Roary and I are not tech admins. We don't have access to the servers. We can't make changes even if we had the skill to do so.

Only Matthew and Richard have this access, and Govind has the skill to code.

 

I'm sure mohs aware of the difference between the two. All we're hoping (Well, I am anyway's) is that a general admin ie you or roary will put this plan into action up in the admin lounge where these sort of issues would be dealt with by those who have the ability to do so (govind, matthew, sythe, ... whoever it may be)

Going off that though, if the workload is so immense, sythe should look to hire more technical talent rather than more general admins

 

It's annoying seeing threads piled with pages with no avail. Can't a staff member request the proper person to respond to this thread, approval or not? Same with other threads related.

 

The things waiting to be done have been PM'd several times. Once those are taken care of we'll push things like this.

 

We try, and I think Roary's got a list of things to do for admins in the admin lounge.

 

Suggestion #2: hire more admins qualified in the necessary skills, obvs there isn't enough

 

Hopefully Govind gets server access back now that things were sorted

Closing this but not archiving. It'll get attention when possible; I dont stop nagging people about getting suggestions done.

 

Suggestion #3 - Write the code yourself. Submit it to Matthew and/or Richard to review and implement.
