A few 07 questions

Hi,

I'm wanting to start playing 2007, I'm comped on 2 accounts in rs3 and tbh it's getting pretty boring. I already started 07 once on one of my comp accounts, I'm lvl 60 attack 65 str 1 def with d scimitar etc. However, I've heard about people getting false bans on 07 and I don't want my comp acc to be banned for a few weeks while jagex sorts it it. Should I just restart on another acc or is it safe to continue on my comped acc? Also, I've heard there's been some updates recently that make 07 nothing more than a glorified private server, and that pking is kinda dead. If anyone could clear these things up for me, that'd be great.

 

False bans rarely happen, and when they do Jagex aren't long in fixing their error. You'll be fine

 

I've seen at least 10 recent instances of it happening and people rage posting on the max forums about it. My friend used his trim comp account to play 07, got a false ban, and it took jagex over 2 weeks to unban him, even with him knowing several mods personally.

 

Relax "false bans" are rare.

 

Highly rare but if ur planning on botting on ur pure make sure u dont use ur mains logim info otherwise gg main.

 

Just make a new account

 

Very few accounts get falsely banned and the ones I've heard about were using ahk or apps to play rs on their phones/tablets.

 

False bans is bullshit, It's people preaching because they botted and got caught, But I would make a new account anyway because if anything did happen to your 07 acc then your RS3 account also pays the price and vise verca. It's worth the $5/month if this worries you. Goodluck.

 

Basically this. And I hope to god they don't fuck up 07 scape like they have in the past. We can only hope they keep it "old school" without any major updates to combat etc.

However, they have done a bunch of great things like remove PID manipulation, etc.

 

I highly doubt you would get falsely banned. The odds of that are extremely low, you should be fine using that account.

False bans are pretty rare to happen, and when it happens, you get unbanned pretty quickly.

 

I suggest you make a new acc

 

You can get falsely banned, you need to talk with other people on 07 otherwise they think you are botting. If you get falsely banned, it could take jagex 2 - 4 weeks to unban you.
