    Question about PayPal

So when using paypal, is it still possible for people to chargeback when using an MM?

Edit: Also is making a website and having them purchase from there a way around the chargeback?

    Question about PayPal

Yes. If they tell their credit card, bank company, paypal, whatever they used that the payment was made fraudulently, it can be reversed.
Don't quote me on it with an MM, not sure if it makes a difference or stop somewhere throughout the transactions.

    Question about PayPal

MM's don't prevent any chargebacks, and I don't know of any MM that accepts paypal funds during any trade.

I.E, lets say you're selling RSGP, the MM will take the RSGP from you, then the buyer will send the PP funds to you, and lastly the MM will give the RSGP to the buyer. If the buyer then wishes to chargeback, the MM can't do anything to stop them.

In short, either use PA when trading with those you can't wholeheartedly trust in regards to PayPal, and or trade trusted users when PayPal is in question.

    Question about PayPal

No, however they limit the number due to fraud detection aswell as requiring ID of them. I,E, you would ask for their drivers license/utility bill/personal info which makes them less likely to consider charging back.

    Question about PayPal

People can ALWAYS chargeback. Up to 90 days they can claim they did not receive their goods. Unauthorized can be any date after the transaction happened through paypal. Same if a bank/credit card was used.

    Question about PayPal

Minimizing PayPal chargebacks / reversals when selling digital goods / services is a skill that takes months of selling to learn, usually by suffering multiple chargebacks and understanding how and why they happen.

Having a website will help a little bit, but until you've actually had some experience selling, you will probably incur several chargebacks. Even experienced sellers will get chargebacks, although this is hopefully coupled with enough legitimate sales to cover the cost of them.
