Short, minimal and unoriginal side quests, and probably due to the theme of the game, there's like 10923842345 different sets of collectibles that are FAR too easy to find. It's nothing but a grind collecting the artifacts and gets boring and is HIGHLY unrewarding.

The money you get stops becoming essential after the second chapter after you've purchased the wrench, knife, and some other tool-- I forget what.

The only fun part in the game after the second chapter is trying to find ALL the hidden plot pieces and dialog. When you get to the insane asylum, there's a lot of cracks in the walls and key holes to look through that gives you all sorts of cool little bits of plot or just random things. It's hard to explain what it is really. It's not plot essential, but it makes the game in that instance much more dynamic and interactive.

The only real skill needed in the game is if you're trying to get the Ghost player style for each chapter. But then the game becomes a lot of saving and reloading and boring attempts at sneaking past EVERY. SINGLE. NPC. There's never a time when you're not about to be chased by some guard. It makes navigating the already confusing town impossible because you can't step onto the sidewalk without getting chased. And that's another thing, the town is IMPOSSIBLE to nagivate. There's no map, there's no directions telling you where things are. I understand it's supposed to be leaving you to your own devices, but it really takes away from the gameplay when you're turned around and running in circles in the middle of town.

The combat is stunted. Either you blackjack people to death-- which consists of "press this button to dodge. Hit this button to damage"-- or you try to kill them with arrows before they get too close. The combat literally feels like Rock'em Sock'em Boxers.

The eye feature makes any sort of achievement you may feel in discovering hidden content non-existent. It will show you EVERY perk in extreme relief. No skill involved.

It's a gorgeous game with 0 gameplay perks. The only redeeming quality of gameplay is how smooth you can spring from shadow to shadow and over ledges. At least, the acrobatics works better than Mirrors Edge..

The game was given out with AMD radeon reward bundles. I kept one copy for myself and sold the rest off for around $15 each.

See if you can't get your hands on a silver rewards code from somewhere like ebay.

The game is not worth $50 or whatever, but I thought it was worth the $15.
