Thoughts on Islam.

Hi guys rilen here and basically I want to say that I am a Muslim and want to hear your thoughts on Islam.

To begin with the instinctive reaction people get it assoriating Islam with terrorism which really bugs and annoys me because the media have made it so biases and common to say every terror attack was done by an 'Islamist extremist' that people sterotype all Muslim which the threat of terror. It is annoying but I don't want to start any arguments so anyone looking to say anything racist think before you say it or I will report it as spam.

I don't think we should call out people for what they are. Just be who you are. Who cares if you're Muslim? Not me. Who cares who's this, that and the next thing?

We're all human, end of story.

 

This actually interests me. A lot of people I know IRL always judge people because they are Islamic or Muslim. I've learned not to judge people based on what they believe rather than judge them based upon the person they are. I'm accepting of anyone who has good intentions no matter where they're from or what they believe.

 

Fuck all religions.

If you really want self realization focus on bioelectricity (kundalini serpent) and the chakras.

 

I'm indifferent to it. It does pose a lot of interesting things to think about but at the same time so does every other major religion. People using Islam as a reason to fly a plane into a building or bomb a building is pretty fucking stupid. Do those people really believe killing innocent people (in some cases including children) will get them a free ticket to heaven?

What is there to think? It is a religion. One of the three Abrahamic religions in the world. A lot of people have pre-concieved notions because of often poor and sensationalist reportings. I do care that you don't eat bacon though.

Roary is right, in the end, we're all humans, doesn't matter religion, colour, the money you have or the power you have, we are all equal, so we shall respect each other, or at least i hope some day that happens, like i say, and people laugh at me, humans are more irrational animals than rational, if humans were rational, there wouldn't be any wars, religion conflicts, genocides, racism, that's my personal opinion.

 

My best friend is Muslim, and he and his family are always concerned about people knowing, just because of the media always blowing it out of proportion. Just be yourself, and who cares if people judge? Those people obviously have nothing better in their lives to do.

 

Screw the media, they always give out false info and Muslim is a religion like catholic or Christianity,we have to respect each other and we are all the same race just have different beliefs

 

Yeah the media do blame Muslims for terror attacks but if you look at the majority of terror attacks in the last 10 years a large portion of them were carried out by Muslims. They were over political reasons rather than because of the religion itself.

Muslim isn't a race. If you want people's honest opinions don't censor them.

I've very strong views on certain aspects of Islam. I've not problems with 'Your every day Muslim' who goes about their business just like any other Christian, Jew, Hindu, Sikh.. You get the picture. But, there are also parts of Islam which are vile, of course, in my opinion.

 

I mean I understand you point, but the other day on facebook my friend shared this article from 'Russian news', and the article was based on a white man entering a mosque full of explosives, threating to bomb It, now listen... if that same man was a Muslim man, the article would be all over the bbc and American media, but for the white man bbc or American media didn't say anything regarding this? , this is the types of things which really really annoy me.

 

Lets not turn this into a race war, the 'white man'.

It's not to do with the color of his skin, it's a religion thing, if it was a Muslim with explosives it'd make world news - You're right. But, lets not let this topic which could be very interesting if both sides of the argument post intelligently and with respect disintegrate into a race issue.
