Question about selling rs accounts

Hello guys, after being away for quiet a long time I completely forgot everything I used to know about the runescape account market xD. Well that's mainly because RS changed so much.

I'm planning on selling several old accounts I still have after all these years and I want to be able to provide the buyers with all account info that they need to secure the account and be able to recover it in the future if he needs to.

Would any of you please be able to give me a somewhat detailed list of all the things I need to have? And the things I need to "prepare", like do i still need the old recovs? JAG? If JAG is activated then what?

Request a reset for the password and email, once you get the links emailed to you from Jagex send the links to the buyer so they can change the email and password for the account.

The information you should give the buyer includes:

- Old passwords
- Recovery questions and answers
- Any address changes from the time the account was made
- Jag if it's activated
- Any other information you have for the accounts.

 

Even with every single detail, they wont be able to recover it unless they do it from your PC. You'll be able to recover it easily for them should you need to with a simple email detailing some payment info if there is any, creation dates, passwords and IP.

About the JAG thing, on one of my accounts I set it up once, but don't really remember much about it.

Can it be deactivated?
Are there any limitations to this JAG system for the buyer if its deactivated and he wants to activate it again?

I'm not sure if I'm asking the right questions here but I hope you guys have an idea of what I want to know about it xD


EDIT: One more question; Should I consider setting up a verification thing on Sythe? Or is it not that important?

 

You can remove it with your recovery question answers I believe

Edit: Verified User isn't really important since you're already reputable IMO, however, set up Two Factor Authentication which stops anyone getting access to your Sythe account without your smartphone (if you have one).

And one last question(you can close the thread after answering it ): I have a lvl 116 RS07 account with a very rare name on it. Am I allowed to create 2 threads in both the Account sales & Name sales section for this one account?

 

I'd say if the name is considered rare and has levels your best bet would probably be to post in the name sales section and include the stats for the account in that thread.

 

Really it is quite impossible to recover if you are given all the possible info you can have.
All the old passwords, email, JAG, etc etc.
