    Daily meditation

Honestly, I think ten to twenty minutes of daily, focused meditation is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I find it similar to clearing the cache of my mind. Coupled with a good night's sleep this can easily put you on your A game every day. It's also incredibly simple and obviously doesn't take very long.
So, SFA, do you meditate? Have you ever? Why/why not? What is your method? What is your motivation? Do you use a mantra? Let's hear it.

I prefer sitting down to do it just after I wake up in the morning, and just before bed. Personally, no mantras here. Just focused breathing in total silence and very low light, if not complete darkness.

I've never felt the need to do it, but I suppose it would be interesting to try. I find the subject of "enlightenment" very interesting indeed.

I don't meditate. I have been interested in it for quite a while (along with hypnosis) but have never really gone forward into trying it. I should sit down tonight and give it a go.

What is involved? Just focusing on your breathing and calming yourself?

I do yoga every so often (1-2 a week). It's extremely relaxing and well worth a try.

During spring and summer there is a certain giant rock on my buddies property (in the woods) that I find really relaxing to just sit on and listen to the birds and other sounds of nature. I don't meditate but I consider them to be similar in comparision.

I've tried it but it isn't something that I really need.

Videogames has always kind of naturally been that for me, "clearing the cache" is a decent way to put it I guess.

More or less. I found this guide very helpful when I was first getting into it, you should check it out.

That's just as well, honestly. It's not strictly meditation, but it seems it would achieve much of the same result. Good on you.

    Daily meditation

Kundalini and the energy of the chakras is bioelectricity. Our brains run on bioelectricity. This can be seen when some people experience seizures. Thoughts are electrical impulses. When we revamp our bioelectricity, we stimulate areas of our minds that have been and are normally dormant. Kundalini can kick up old fears, unpleasant thoughts and all kinds of things that have been buried in our minds.

Void meditation and the ability to banish thoughts at will, is a definite help here, as negative thoughts serve no real purpose and tying into them is a waste of time, unless it is for a specific reason, as one wanting to deal with them. This is just a stage and will pass in time. Ignore any negative thoughts if they surface and they will go away

ll enlightenment is based on Kundalini energy, coiled at the base of the spine.

Meditation makes the entire nervous system go into a field of coherence.
I personally try to mediate once per week at the very least.

I personally have tried it about 3-4 times and have only fell asleep and felt quite rested up. It's something you must put full effort into and I'm not too into it.
