How do YOU know as a person, when youre IN love?

... Was just thinking about me and my girlfriend as it was our 3 year anniversary yesterday ;'D, was just thinking about the romance between us both and I though to myself "How do I know if this is love"...

Answer: I don't, I just know that every moment I am with her I feel so happy.

 

When you don't need them to tell you that they love you to know that they do. That, and trusting them anywhere, with anyone at any time.

 

Good luck pulling this off. Most people want to be reminded and told that they're loved, that they're cared for. It's a bit more than knowing, but no one wants to be alone in this world.

 

Bit ironic I made this thread and a few days later me and my girlfriend of 3 years just broke up....

Bummer.

 

I'm sorry to hear, that's really unfortunate.

I know I'm in love with a girl when I'm willing to do anything to make her happy, even if its at my own expense. I just wouldn't be willing to do that for someone that I wasn't in love with.

 

I'm currently in a 6 year relationship, you'll find that around 'milestones' of your relationship things can become tense because you're both looking over the relationship as a whole. If you think there is still a chance that you can get back together then give her some space, if you are meant to be you will find eachother again. Best of luck man.

 

It was a very civil break up.

I know why it has happened thats the thing; We have been threw a lot together over the past 3 years various things good a bad.

I think everything that has happened made us miss the "fun" things in the relationship, I'm not saying we never had any fun as we did, we shared some amazing times together.

Just it got to the point were feelings were stuck and we didn't grow any more as a whole... But we decided to split and see what happens for a few months, try and move on at the same time hoping something will stop us and bring the spark back.... If we was meant to be we will be.

 

Lol, I didn't say I don't say or don't like to hear it - that's stupid. I just mean.. the feeling of knowing someone loves you rather then them just telling you is what makes me know I'm in love.

 

Yeah pretty much if you can feel the love from the other person when you spend time with them and if you feel that you'd be there for them in their time of need ect that's when you're in love.

 

Love is a many splendid thing, when you don't need to tell someone you love them and they don't need to tell you that they love you, you're in love.

Not to be confused with the definition of "love" these days aka "We hooked up at a party I love you".
