Weekly / Monthy Skill Competitions.

Howdy guys, just looking to see who would possibly be up for some possible friendly competition around here.

It's great motivation to get some stats up, Possible prizes and such.

I used to run them in my previous clan and they went very well, people were inclined to train skills.

Possibly talk to admins about a mini rank for competition winners, as I know there is for graphics and such.

But hey, do you think?

Exp would be tracked by proper exp trackers, I have several working ones i've used over the years.

Ideas:

• Leader Boards - Points awarded for higher placements per one.
• Voting - People would be able to vote for which skill they want next.
• Prizes - Prize would be based on number of entrants.
• Teams - Allow for combined exp and work in teams to get the most exp.

Yeah it sounds pretty good to me. I prefer overall xp gain comps but I'd be open to do anything.

 

Overall would be way too easy,

Like I could go get a team of top dungeoneer'ers and do like 1.2m exp/hr lol

 

I think it's a great idea, but of course, we should choose a few skills so people can vote which one they want, overall it would be really nice too have a monthly skill competition.

 

Yeah it would go up for a vote like the week before.

Wouldn't do buyables as that just comes down to money.

Slayer would be only combat one, then things like wc, rc, mining, fish etc etc

 

oooh this sounds like fun. Count me in if you ever need help organizing these types of events

 

I'd totally be down to participate in some of these skill competitions if they happen let me know!

I support this. Also there should be a feature to donate. I'd also like to see a competition from scratch. EG: LVL 3 account 10 days.

Level 3 from scratch could be good but people trading over cash etc is always a problem, like 10 days, enough time to do 2 99's if I traded cash ovr haha.

Donations can go up, would be nice to see.

I'm pretty busy this week, but come April I will be organsing the first competition.

I might stick a poll up soon though to decide what skill.
