Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

Not everyone has time to train an account, some people just want to pk/stake and don't have the time to prepare the account and just want to have fun.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

Honestly my current account is also bought, but I put in a tremendous amount of playing time that surpasses what the original owner had done. I just wanted a bit of a had start to some awful skilling and quests. I haven't had a problem and it's been four years, but I understand the risk I took. It's not like I'm paying for an account that did everything for me. Tbh I'd much rather skill or even bot it myself than let someone else "hand train" my account. Accounts aren't worth buying anymore if you can do a lot off things yourself with your own risks rather than someone else's

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

I myself will never buy an rs account to play as to me it's not my effort put in. But to stake etc buying it from a trusted user who originally owned it I see nothing wrong

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

I agree, if you buy an account, at least buy it from someone trusted, so you can minimise your chances of being scammed.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

I like to buy accounts sometimes because I get banned a lot I don't like training for 2-3 months to get the stats I want when the account will only last a few weeks anyway.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

I think account sales is the most shady part of RWT by far, I've never gotten anything good or fair out of it, not saying there aren't any legit deals but alot of unexpected things can happen afterwords.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

Here's the only reason that matters:

    - Ownership of an account is never transferred, only borrowed. You are effectively renting something which can be rescinded at any point in time, and offering your full end of the deal up front.

Still can be recovered by the original owner no matter what info the buyer has.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

In my opinion the majority of account sales are to stake or pk.

You're right, but would you still take the risk? Doesn't seem like a smart move to me.

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

I am like 95% sure you bought an account and it was recovered.

The fact is that buying an account saves you a lot of time and people don't care about the risk as much as you might imagine. From you I get that if something is risky then you shouldn't do it. Life is too damn short to worry so much.

Skydiving is risky ---> noone better go skydiving any more, SPREAD THE WORD!!

Pros & Cons of Buying a RS Account

If i ever would be an account personaly i would only buy from people that I know 100% it's a garunteed risk free purchase, for example KMJT (no this is not an advertisement)
I probably need to buy a maxed account soon for Duelling but i've never bought or sold one and I agree with Ghast, it's a terrible feeling that you're risking after you made a purchase.
