Hey guys, quite new to C4D and photoshop, however I have made a few signatures already with more to come

Let me know on what you think, have only had C4D for half a week. Will be getting into more advanced signatures in the not too distant future and will be starting a shop up soon if they are ok. Thanks

The middleground c4d ruins some of the pieces. You aren't using them effectively.

 

sorry, i dont really understand what that means!! sorry i am a noob! Could you explane?!

 

Foreground = Background

Middleground = Middle

Focal = Front/Main point

The c4d behind the text isn't being used effectively. This can include the layer style, color, and shape of the c4d. Use c4d that will complement the text. Slapping random c4d behind the text draws the attention away from the focal.

 

I doubt the bg is done in 3d.

Remember to use up all your space!

Try making the background effects and/or imperfections bigger than the piece. So its layed overtop but not very attention grabbing, but it has to be noticeable.

You might be interested in thurasi, a C4D plugin which divides your text randomly, check it out.

I really like the look of the first one, simple and effective.

 

The last one is a 10/10 for me, love the font and the background.

For number 4&5 i was wondering if anyone could explane to me how i could make my backgrounds more complexed more like my actual signature?

 

I think they're very nice but I find them hard to read.
