Weird things you find relaxing?

What are some weird things that you find relaxing that others might not?

I've known about this one for a while and I've always thought that it was weird. I'm actually relaxed by someone trying to lure me, or sell me some bs, etc. I'm not sure what it is but I get a warm feeling from it, yes seriously. Its like a brain massage for me (IDK )

How about you guys?

 

For whatever reason I've always found that storms are always really relaxing. I used to take my truck out to the top of the hills around my part and just sit and listen to the wind move the truck/rain hit the windows. Really relaxing, almost like a meditation.

 

idk anything weird that relaxes me lol. But normally music puts me in a crazy good relaxing mood. I could be pissed off at everyone and just turn on music and im relaxed.

 

Reading a book in a warm bath. not that weird I guess

 

playing gears of war for the xbox 360. chills me right out.

 

Bench Press on low weight/high reps. Close my eyes with music going and tune right out.

Boating, I guess some people don't like boats. It's always relaxing for me in the summer time to go on a boat, any type besides a peddle boat works for me.

 

Sitting in front of a computer but someone is standing / sitting next to me typing on the keyboard for me. Mmm.

 

I love having a heavy weight pressing down on me while I sleep. Usually a few layers of blankets will do, but I'm most comfortable when sleeping with someone

 

Yeaaaa man I know what you mean, I find thunderstorms to be very relaxing! If the storm is really good I'll go and drive to the lake to get a good view of it. I like sun showers too, sometimes during those I'd lay on my old trampoline and chill out haha.


On a day to day basis working out really relaxes me. Everyday at work I get aggravated to new heights, nothing beats putting the earbuds in and lifting...and of course not lifting has adverse effects!

 

Drinking/eating strawberry milkshakes/ice cream.

 

not sure if it's allowed but i'll post the yt link to this 5 hour video game music compilation of the most relaxing video game music made. So as you guessed, yes I listen to relaxing video game music while scaping/ doing homework, it soothes the brain. don't call me weird for this lol.

I look up mechanical keyboard videos, I find the sound relaxing as well haha.

Mmm, me too! Even in the summer if I can I'll turn on my fan and the ac and then pile on heavy blankets.

 

Watching anime

 

Late night cups of tea and rewriting my notes or review for tests are oddly calming for me.

 

Post-exercise exhaustion, love that bone-tired feeling you get after a long hard run/ride.

Oh and rain on metal roofs, flashback to being a little kid in on holiday in a caravan
