Am i possibly diabetic?

-always tired
-always got a dry mouth (which my health teacher noticed the other day, since I'm always asking to get water)
-Randomly depressed for no fucking reason
-Hands sometimes numb
Does any of this happen to anyone else? I'm only 18 and don't really exercise alot unless im lifting weights. My diets shit also. Weigh 160 all muscle.
Couple more embarrassing symptoms i don't think people on this forum are mature enough to even read without thinking I'm a troll.

I always think I'm Anemic, I'm always tired, always cold, I always have a dry mouth aswell.

Never been diagnosed with anything though

I believe you are really over-thinking things and it could be nothing serious. Recently, I had the same thing going on, had always ants in my body when I ate something with sugar, tired all day, pissing the day over, headaches, aching body. I went to get a blood test and everything came back normal. Just realized that I just did not get enough sleep, that was all. Only that blood test can really help you diminish your concerns.

 

Try going to a doctor or ask on some medical forum? like reddit maybe

If you plan on self diagnosing yourself, do some research.

 

Those are all actually symptoms of a diabetic.

 

Your best bet would be to see a specialist (doctor) and get yourself checked out. That is the only way you will know for sure.

Really? Could you link me, too lazy to look. The only symptom that was recognizable was numbness of the hands. I had classes about diabetes, so I know most of the common symptoms for type 1 & 2 diabetes.

 

Extreme thirst is the one of the most common symptoms of diabetes.

Go to your doctor, all it takes is a simple blood test to figure it out. Don't scour the internet and get yourself worked up reading stories online.

 

Couple of Questions:
Do you have a family history of diabetes, Type 1 or Two. ?
Does your pee smell sweet ? (legit question)

 

i was actually labeled "pre diabetic" but ive lost shit ton of weight (in my opinion) went from 240 to about 205-210 or so..and eat a bit healthier..
i cut down on Pop/Soda/Carbonated drinks..but past 2-3 weeks ive kind of been on a bad diet, eating out a lot ..but ill fix it soon enough..just gotta get my mojo right!..

id honestly just go to the doctor..but even as pre diabetic i never experience any of those symptoms (or if i did i didnt care to notice)

 

Go to a doctor to get yourself tested, nobody here can accurately diagnose you without examining you in person.
Have you stopped or started or are already taking any drugs? prescribed, over the counter, or illicit.
One highly inaccurate test for diabetes is tasting your urine if the mg/dl of glucose is high it'll taste sweet, but just go to the doctor as you'll have to get an actual test anyway regardless of what that shows.

 

I would say go see a doctor to do some blood work on you to get a proper diagnosis. Oftentimes, people try to self diagnose based on symptom searching on the internet, but they can't self prescribe without a doctor. So, kill two birds with one stone by saving yourself some time and actually see a doctor.
