You guys have another chance to send in your information to get someone incriminated. It can be regarding any proof of hackings on Sythe, or any proof of scamming on Sythe. Staff members should have something to say on this matter, and although I'm sure they're aware of his Sigex alias, it wouldn't hurt to give the information because googling Sigex will give a lot of naughty results, too much to shift through.

Yes, I'd have to agree that his mom isn't really helping his case. She is telling the truth, the LoL DB was not hacked by Shane, but what I'm hoping is that he gets charged with other things. Who knows how this will turn out, remember he has Aspergers, which always leads to an excuse.

 

Just pressing charges for virtual scams would lead to nothing. Where as attempting to hack a major gaming company, hacking their Twitter, selling IP grab tools for said game, and being involved in CC fraud (not confirmed) is far far worse.

Aspergers, if the Australian justice system is anything like the US', isn't a defense. In the US to be acquitted due to mental illness you can't be aware that you actions are wrong or damaging. Anyone I have known with Aspergers knows when an action is damaging to someone else, even one with a very severe case.

 

Ah, I don't browse reddit but that's neat. Are there any comments from people who knew him? It doesn't seem like anything useful is posted in the comments at a glance, which is odd. As long as the FBI is fully aware of all of the fraud he's committed, which clearly isn't the case judging by the low amount of counts he has, but someone is already taking care of more evidence of fraud.
