Help, anyone who knows anything about PvP

Yo, it's been a good few years since I last played runescape, and I have a few questions;

1) what is PvP now?
2) is PvP worth it on 07
3) what are the best classes

rs3 pvp is alot more complicated than 07 pvp and alot less active, mainly only set up risk fights with max gear nowadays.

 

What's the PvP like on 07, busy or half dead just full of addicts

 

Basically, RS3 PvP is dead. The Wilderness now consists of Warbanders or PJers. EoC pretty much made pures useless, there's no honour (requesting fights, etc.) in it anymore and it's only the people doing One of a Kind that bring any real items of value into it due to OP armours and weapons being ridiculously cheap.

If you want to PK, I'd suggest doing it on 07 (old combat system, pures, etc.). It's easier to use since there are no abilities. As for classes, there are no "best" classes. It's a matter of opinion and preference. I could like a 75 att, 99 str and 1 def pure and someone else could like a range tank or a main. Do some experimenting on what type of account you prefer.

So PVP is 07 is kind of dead.

There are more sellers at edge bank then there are pkers. And that isn't that big of an exaggeration either.

Edge is busy if you're a low level pure. Lots of 40-55, small groups of 60-70, and then the occasional 80+ 1 def pure.

Edge is basically dead for lvl 80 zerks. Maybe 5-10 level 80 zerks/voiders will be running around. There are a few 90-100 and then a couple 126 DHers.

Your best bet for pking is to go on PVP world, as in the old worlds that allow you to pk anywhere in RS except for banks. Those worlds have like 200-300ish players that are poking. Lots of 60-80 1 def purrs. All the high level 90+ pkers go to cammy. That's where you will find your dhers and higher risk pkers.

But it's nothing busy like it used to be. From my experience (I'm a lvl 80 zerker) it's hard to find fights, not terrible, but a lot of running/waiting around. You may end up fighting the same person multiple times. Now if you're a pure, you're better off in terms of fights, up until around 80. And then after 80 if you're still a pure, you might as well get def cuz there's a big jump in terms of players from 80-high 100s. Not many pkers in between 80-112ish.

In terms of builds, most popular is either 1 def pure or maxed main pking. Occasional zero but most everyone is either in the pure stages still or just went ahead and got def up to max out their account.

Edge is decent, drags are kind of reviving and PvP worlds are decent to.

 

no clue on eoc but 07 is kinda active.

07 pvp is definitely worth it as long as you're good and know what you're doing.

best class = maxed barrows pure for sure or a high lvl pvp range build. anything else is a waste no one under lvl 80 risks anything worth while best you will get is some rune go for the nice stuff [whips/barrows gear etc.] on the average pk night I bank anywhere from 5-25million thats assuming 90% of the time they are only risking whip n low end gear

i only play for making rl cash so I have no idea on eoc as gold is dirt cheap over there.
