i got btc! how do i sell it for PP?

i dont want to loose money on merchers. What should i do?

 

1. Sell it to me. I wont merch
2. Sell on BitStamp or btc-e
3. Gamble it on Just-Dice & see if you're lucky hahaa

You could also trade it for other cryptocurrencies in an exchange, and see how it goes from there. Value can go up, or down overall though.

Nobody can give you a definite answer of when to sell/hold , BTC is very volatile. If you want to sell some BTC though, please let me buy a small amount from you

 

I would sell it tbh especially with the problems with mtGox. You can sell it on forums thats the only place I really know.

 

holy shit i remember when it dropped from $1000 to $200 back in june/july I laughed at everyone who was investing.

I also remember when BTC was at $20, I had 2.4 myself but sold them, totally wish I didn't now.

Past few weeks BTC has been crashing on a weekend then rising by the next ~ it's totally up to you OP but if you don't wanna have a loss on them then you need to sell them quick cause if they drop, it takes a while for them to rise again in most cases.

There is plenty of sites on the internet which will buy your btc instantly, however if you want to sell to someone more trustworthy then sell to nytrix or whatever on this site.

 

Clearly shows you haven't followed BTC whatsoever. April was Cyprus, which started the first spur from $10 - $15, to $100 - $200. Then it settled, and didn't start the climb to the historic $1,000 by November until late Summer.

So there is no "remembering when it went from $1,000 to $200." Worst case scenario was right around the third week of February during the Gox crisis, when weak hands panicked and sold off their BTC for sub-$500. Has been a steady $600+ for the past month or so.

This is only a problem for someone new to BTC and doesn't understand what kind of financial and global impact cryptocurrency will have in the next decade. There has been a heavy focus on changes to BTC services (Publicly available audits, example, Bitstamp did a single transfer on the blockchain of 194,000+ BTC [~$147M USD] about a week ago, proving they have their customer's funds.) This would have EASILY solved the issue of people playing ignorance and utilizing a broken exchange that has been known for years.

 

And Adam, I suggest you hold your 2 BTC. In the short run, there will be price fluctuations, but I believe it is getting to the point of "calm before the storm" again.

The price rise last year was in accordance with geopolitical influence (Cyprus/Greece austerities, Government scrutiny of cryptocurrency, etc), financial influence (Wall Street got word of BTC, and VC's from all over the world are now starting up accelerator programs to fund countless start-ups for the next 1 - 2 years), and societal influence (folks who believe that the fundamental ideology of cryptocurrency can provide an alternate choice to the problems plaguing fiat). The public has since dealt with some unfortunate news recently, and not much is being talked about BTC other than the recent Gox failure, hence significantly lower volume of trading across various exchanges.

Ultimately, you'll need to gauge for yourself if BTC is worth holding or not. I personally see the benefits far outweighing the problems being encountered.

 

If I were you, I'd hold it. However, if you really want to sell, the best way to sell is with coinbase.com , they send it to your bank account. If you really need it sent to paypal, you can use btc-e but it's 7% fee

 

i wreckon btc-e.com would be your best option
