Why are we Filipinos hated by everyone

So first, I saw a post of a famous page about Dota 2 and all the comments I've seen was about us that we're dumb. It's like they're trying to tell everyone that we're dumb in everything.

I played with this guy on CSGO, he was the one who got us lose the pistol match because everybody went A short and he went B and I told him that he should've just sticked with us. He got mad and then swore at me but it doesn't really matter to me because let's say it's just a small thing but when I told him that he was the one who's dumb. He kept on telling me that I am the one who's dumb every time I die and when he founds out that I am a Filipino, he started saying rude words to me.

He said that we're dumb and our government is a 'fail' and our mothers are maid and he also said that we're poor ♥♥♥♥s, everyone in the team (because he said those rude words to me in Team Chat so not everyone saw it). I can't really believe what he just said to me, to be honest, those words really hurts. Nobody had ever did that to me, I can't believe that we Filipinos are shame as that's what they said and I know that it's not my fault that made us hated by almost everyone.

Most of the people who hates us are Asians as well, mostly from Singapore. I haven't met somebody who did that from another Asian country but I asked my fellow Filipino friend on Steam if he ever encountered the same thing and he said Yes, he said the guy who did it to him was Malaysian and the Malay guy also told him that his mom is a maid. Not all of our mom are maid and it really hurts.

So when he told me those things, I lost my good mood so it got me killed a lot the whole time because nobody can probably play good when not in a mood, right? I just can't believe that these guys hates us a lot, I don't want this to happen to me again and I don't want this to happen to anyone as well. But not all of them hates us, I met this Indian guy and he said that Filipinos are hated by everybody but he also told me that he doesn't hate me.

I didn't reported his Steam Profile as I think it wouldn't even help as it looks like it doesn't work (lol!). What he said was just really rude and he almost even turn it into a political debate.

you're not hated by everyone. most filipinos here in canada are hard working individuals who do their jobs with pride. like that guy who responded to your steam thread, sounds like some asshole who can't control their emotions while playing a video game

most people don't mean anything they say online over voice chat during a video game. just ignore fools like that again, and don't take it to heart.

 

All ethnic and social groups are discriminated against at some level. Black people, asian people, filipino people, gay people, lesbians, transgender people, tall people, fat people, anorexic people, people who like justin bieber for God's sake.

It's part of the course of being in any group in society. You're not alone.

 

Let's be fair here, people who like Justin Bieber are the lowest common denominator in society.

Otherwise, back to the OP. Steam forums/Steam is notorious for its trolls, so I wouldn't really take anything to heart. If you take stuff to heart on the internet/online gaming then you aren't going to be around long.

Just going to say that I never played StarCraft II online because of Koreans though. They're badass.

 

Well, I don't play with pride even though we are 100% going to win the game. I don't even rage.

I can really say that most of the gamers here are rude, those are the kids who only plays in a net cafe because I've played with one of them and they are really rude. When they get killed, they'll spam the mic with rude words.

Some kid even asked me to fist-to-fist with him.

 

Ignore them, that's the reaction they're looking for. They want you too feel bad because you're dominating them in a game.

Maybe they are just insecure with the Filipinos.
Filipinos are the most flexible creatures in the world. They can do whatever others can do. They can copy a certain nationality effortless. They had great singers, dancers etc. Home of hospitality. Filipinos are mixed nationalities like Indonesians, Malaysians etc. They does'nt have white skin or a dark skin either their skin was usually fair. Filipinos can do great things even they are small. They are fast learner and they can speak english very well. I think thats the main reason why they hate filipinos a lot. They are insecure of them.
