without reading the other comments, i believe that it would be a cool idea but difficult to make.

if there was one already made then i don't see why it couldn't be incorporated.

I used to use a vB forum that had this automatic draft-saving feature. I think it'd be useful here too.

 

Bump, I'd really like to see this. Losing posts due to accidentally hitting the back button on my mouse is obnoxious.

Why not have it automatically save? Why is this even being argued? It it can be easily done without security issues we should do it.

 

I don't think it's a case of it's being argued, it's a case of waiting for those who can implement it to have some time on their hands to address it.
