85-99 Ranged

Yo, looking at cost/efficiency/time for 85-99 range.

Almost have full range void,avas. 75 def and 44 prayer.

Was going to chin but not sure how much it would cost.

Whats best way to go?

 

I say stay with chinning. It's really AFK and saves a ton of time/clicking. I'd rather pay the little extra to save time and effort on my part.

 

100% this^, and i think its around 40k red chins 85-99 if you use void

 

Concentrate on getting your void, then chin until 99.

 

As stated above, chinning is the way forward.

Back in ~2008 with Void I got from 90-99 with around 25k red chins, hope this helps!

 

Thanks dudes, looks like chinning it is . I'm 70 points from full void then I guess I'll start making some cash. Also thinking of going 71-94 with ice burst and full mage void. But I know that would cost a load. Good for Hp levels though.

Full Void, Fury, Ava's and yes range pots if possible. Essentially what you're trying to do is maximise prayer + range attack bonus, no need to worry about defence or anything else really as you'll be praying.

IIRC it might be worth taking a super anti poison or two, as the poison damage from the little spiders adds up over time.

It's hard to suggest an exact inventory without testing, you'd be better off with some trial and error and tweak to your needs.

 

Thanks for the tip, forgot about poison, I remember I use to use like invent of prayer pots and 4 range pots or so. Would a prayer cape be better than ava's. I really want to maximise xp/hr as I'm going to be spending a lot on it.

 

does anyone know how many chins 80-90 range would take with full void?

 

I'm thinking around the 10k+ mark.

It would be faster to chin and make the money back again that you spent than doing anything else.

A cape with prayer stats is better than avas in this case. You might get a higher exp/hr rate while actually chinning, people seem to forget that banking etc is also part of your trainin time.

Less you bank, more exp/hr average goes up. Simples.

You could chin but if it's too expensive, you could try alternatives like doing range nmz, tzhaar caves.
