Wilderness update!

Have any of you tried out/seen first hand any of the new features of the wilderness on OSRS?

I'm just going for 94 magic and 60 attack as soon as possible so I can get out and have some fun!

 

woot! This update will definitely will bring more activity to OSRS, I can't wait!!

 

Log in 2 hours after update to see a lvl 85 with a dragonpickaxe. Those things are ugly as fuck. They're just a rune pickaxe painted red. Same with the new obby shields. Jagex really got lazy as fuck.

Na i'm really looking forward to this for actual game play, i'm hoping that it stays a thing and isn't just dead content within a week

 

That's kinda how things are though. You base the next level off of the previous levels. Like how all pick's and axes and swords look same from bronze up to rune. Also, it's OSRS, not RS3. They're not gonna spend time on this, it's Jagex.

Updates look very cool though. Not sure who will want to hunt the red chins there but everything else looks real cool.

 

I doubt it'll be dead within the week, the new update brings players from all areas together increasing activity in the wilderness. As long as there are skills and pvmers taking advantage of the awesome drops in the wild, there will be pkers trying to kill them.

OT: Logged on today on my break from work and got tbed and rushed by a clan as soon as I stepped in but tanked it like a boss. Can't wait to finish work, gonna take over varrock multi!

Edit: Also, quit bitching about the looks of the new objects. Who cars if they just changed the color scheme, focus on the content and forget the pretty colors.

 

there is alot of people in the wild atm, every world has a team roaming around, aswell as many pvm groups, and soloers

im not a pker but i like this update more bosses to kill and torsos disapear 20+ wildy

 

I'm really glad they are bringing in new stuff, keeping the 07 servers active also keeps our swap business going
If They ever do bring in D claws, then I might actually play the game some rather than using it strictly for profits.

I heard all the drops are disappointing. Haven't tried it out yet for myself but I plan to later this month. I just hope it's not as bad as I've been reading on the forums.

 

I'll be honest, the drops are quite garbage. They need an improvement. I've killed all 3 demi bosses and got all 3 shards, and I can say their normal drops are just shit. Killing a level 204 scorpion which solo u can probably only get 1-2 kills for 30 dust runes drop or 3k coins isn't my idea of a good time. The other bosses drop stuff like a rusty sword (worth 1 gp) noted herbs, emerald sapphires, coins, other useless junk.

 

Looks interesting, I would try it out if I had a guy that level.
