Why Is Paying for homework/coursework not allowed?

a week or two ago, I tried to offer to pay someone to help me out, but it was against the rules.

Before I knew it was against the rules - I also made a thread to offer my maths skills to help people with there homework/coursework.

Sythe is a blackmarket forum, so why is paying for homework/coursework not allowed?

 

Doesn't make sense to me either.

We can break the terms of service of developers games because it gives us an unfair advantage and it is mutually advantageous.

We can't break a school policy because...?

 

Idk Sythe's reasoning, but I'm totally in favor. Do your own work, and earn the grade you deserve. Stop looking for shortcuts.

What is sythe's concern if you pay someone to write an essay for you?

We can have gambling and look the other way but if someone wants to pay for homework help that isn't allowed?

I'm not saying we have to endorse it, not saying we need to make a section for it, I'm just saying that it doesn't make sense that there is a specific rule against it.

It is also hypocritical for the same reasons I listed above.

 

If this is solely a 'gaming black market forum' then there wouldn't be an off topic section, a technology section, an RL trade section etc..


Was just wondering the reasoning behind it, I wasn't comparing runescape to real life, but a little cheating here and there never hurt anyone.

Also, If you read properly, I stated I wanted to help people, as well as getting help my self.
