There are so many problems with this:

    1) Privacy laws
    2) Data protection laws
    3) COPPA
    4) Doxxing

    Etc.

Not to mention it still would not stop scammers.

Have you taken the moment to ponder intellectual property laws and seen how useful they in this particular corner of the webs? If you're wanting to get legal, I'm sure I could bring up a slew of 1, 2, 3, 4's...

I'm all for finding ways to improve our "Sythe Verified" system. I don't think it was this thread but we had a thread suggesting that we had further tiers, or levels of verification.

I'll support, I'd have no problem providing extra information.

There's also the fact that knowing personal info does very little to deter scams. And Richard or Matt could be sued.
    Until Sythe gets hacked.

You won't know a persons info until they have scammed, and only if they do. It's entirely up to the person who was scammed as to what they want to do with it. If you're paying for a service to release information that you provide, then you can't hold anyone liable if the information gets released. I'm sure there would be some type of disclaimer...

There are plenty of ways to secure information; you're into bitcoin from what I can see, how do you not know this? I really hope you're not expecting them to just put a .txt file of everything in some random /peoplesinfofile... Store all information offline, hash and salt it. There are countless methods to secure data, and if there ever was to be a breach the information would be hard to crack, even if it's available at all.

This, Giving scammers details away is dumb, Just keep them on record for future vaders would be a good idea. What if people use fake or live with elderly or people needing help, have young childeren and someone gets scammed and bombs fuck out of a house. Obviously exaggerating. But rs is full of suicidal fuckers, If they got scammed $1k the outcome could be anything. ^_^

You're assuming the data is handled correctly. Massive international companies fail to do that.

ontop of all that hes assuming sythe/mat have the time to do all this.

and what is it really going to do? i mean most of these people on this forum are around the age of 16, what the fuck are they going to do with someones personal information?

ontop of all of that, no one coming to this site to scam is going to give all that information at anyways.. this is just a backwards ass way to try and fix a problem, the thought is genuine, but the idea is well... useless.

Sharing private information is not acceptable.
We have seen a lot secured websites hacked and private informations leaked after.
Solving scamming problem sounds to me impossible... (sadly but true).
Actions against scammers must be taken only by the website rules.
And the rules must not violate any human/private information laws.
(Sadly but the law secure more the scammers than the legit persons)

I just don't see how releasing information on scammers will help.
