Good Animes to watch?

I wouldn't call myself an anime addict or anything, but for the last few years I've watched a few that have really entertained me (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood being one of my favorite shows of all time anime or not)

Anyways i'm sort of looking for suggestions as to what to watch next.. I don't really have a specific genre I like but here are my top 5 Anime (that I've seen) so maybe based off of these you could give me some suggestions?

You have a good taste, I've watched all of them. And I'm sure you'd like School Days

 

Every single one has an english dub except yuru yuri and bakemonogatari
These titles are popular and well known
To be honest their original voice actors are better than the english version about 99% of the time and the translators that make the english dub kind of ruin the translation

 

Maybe, I just don't like listening to a language I do not understand, and not a big fan of sub titles.

 

oh I understand. I was the same way. Was just giving my opinion. I got tired of waiting for a dub to be released so that's what got me into subs

I realized I gave too many titles. Going off your list I suggest you start with steins gate or sword art online

 

Dragon Ball Z

 

Yeah I could see that being annoying haha. I somewhat feel the same way because I watched DBZ as a kid so when I heard about that new movie that recently came out I wasn't happy when I heard that the english dub might not come until 2015

 

DBZ was watched when I was a kid man, I used to worship that show haha.

 

Code Geass.

Once you've watched FMA Brotherhood, Code Geass, Death Note, then u have completed the holy trinity of Anime.

 

If you liked Death Note, you need should watch Attack on Titan. It's currently only english sub but the english dub is being release this year. There's a convention being held this month for it.

Same director of Death Note.

 

I've been waiting on the Eng dub

 

Elfen Lied. One of the best animes ever made.

 

Hunter X Hunter 2011, definitely best anime I've watched, pretty sure it will soon become one of the top three.

Btw I've seen FT, FMA, Death crap(note), Naruto, Bleach, OP, DB/Z/GT

 

Death Note started out so good, but went bad later in the series.. such a good concept, wish they would re do the series.
