Should I play ranked?

I'm coming up to level 30 (currently 29) and was wondering should I go straight into ranked or just play normals for a while?

I have rune pages and have a decent pool of champs:

Top: Tryn/Jax/Mundo
Jung: Vi/Amumu
Mid: Kat/Leblanc/Gragas
Adc: Sivir/Vayne/Cait
Supp: Blitz/sona/thresh

I tend to win most of my games btw.

Should I try and play so more champion in normals before playing ranked or just dive straight in?

 

I thought I was going to wait, but why not? Worse that can happen is bronze, just give it a shot and see how you like it.

 

i would play unranked 30 ques since you're prob still playing in the 25-29 lvl bracket

 

If you enjoy playing competitively I'd say go for it. If you prefer to mess around and you're not bothered by the outcome of the game, I'd suggest you stick with normals.

It's always fun to at least play your placement games to see what division you're in.

 

Play normals for a while before diving into ranked queue.

I would recommend playing ranked after about 500 normal wins. I wish I did that, if you play ranked right out of 30 you will be in bronze 5 forever trying to climb out the whole season. You will get better a lot faster though playing ranked but I would focus on normal play with better friends than you and watch pro streams and then play ranked. Just my opinion on the matter

Yes, definitely played Ranked. However, wait till you're a bit more seasoned, have enough rune pages and champions.

Play a bit more normals before going into ranked, you're going to need to carry yourself in your placements

 

You really don't need 500 normal wins lmao. I've been playing since april, gold in solo que now and I don't have 400 normal wins. I went into ranked right when I got 30 and less than 200 normal wins. If you don't feel confident in your playstyle then definitely play more normals.

That's really not true at all.

But just go into ranked, if you feel you need more practice as you've not been doing too well in ranked, then play some more normals.

 

Just play ranked.. only way to get good at it is to play.

 

yeah but if you dive into rank, you will start learning more experience. Thats what my friend told me and hes Gold III rankwise

 

well u should give it a try and go ahead if u see ur self good stay if not go back and train more

 

Anyone telling you to dive in , isn't in bronze/ silver and doesn't know what its like when someone who just started getting into ranked is playing on your team. I advise you to play some Draft Pick, this way you can become accustomed to picks/bans and obeying the pick order. And also picking champs out of your pool that might work better in specific team compositions.

Bronze hell is real, the climb is real, cancer is all too real.
