Wanting to know why this thread was locked.

Why was this locked, what do I need to do to fix it and get it unlocked? I was under the impression (as I have my thread almost identical to all the other shops) that everything was in order?

I guess I should suggest sending a PM, or requesting some more information in a reply in the thread itself.

I think there is a missunderstanding.

So far what I've gathered from n4n0 is he thinks I'm only selling the means as to recover an account. No, I have the username and password of -every- account I have. These accounts are special because of the fact that they have an uncreated original email and/or an expired domain, hence "absolute safest". I mentioned the fact that one could make the trade more legit by (even though they have the original password) just create the email and/or domain and recover the account.

James was the one who locked the thread. I'll attempt to get with him about the issue.

As I explained to n4n0, I want to be transparent any of my actions. I'm new here, but I'm looking to become a serious part of this community. Where I work I am a leader. I have hundreds of thousands of dollars running through my fingers at any given moment and it's up to me and the team I lead to make sure the job gets done right and efficiently, 12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. I'm not a kid, I'm an adult. I am mature. I can be brutally honest, truthful and polite about it at the same time. I expect the same in return. Please do not be arrogant or lethargic with me as I will not be with you or any other person on this forum. I understand that if there's something in that thread that is against the rules then it should be locked as I respect the rules of Sythe and those who make the decisions on what to allow.

Edit: Also, I can verify I have the password to every account I have. Pick an account from the list. Even an expired domain one. I'll give you the password and the domain will -still- be expired (so you don't think I just made the email and recovered it).

 

I think what would be in question is your method of obtaining these accounts. Are they cracked accounts?

 

I purchased them through another user on this forum that owns many accounts. I had this person compile a list of all the @domain.com's and I ran that through a bulk db search and purchased all of them.

 

You've obviously cracked these accounts or "acquired" them in some sort of unethical way.

I'm personally curious how you managed to get them (I'm assuming you've stolen them) when Steam Guard exists now.

That's an opinion though, and it's up to the moderators to handle it.

And did you even ask this person how he got the accounts? From the look of them I can almost guarantee they are stolen.

 

I mean.. I don't really think that's really a 'legal' card. Only against Steam rules / policy. we could say the same for Runescape -

"Each account should only be used by one person. Players may not sell, share, transfer or lend their account to anyone else. Players should not accept an account that anybody else offers, as they may be stolen, and this could lead to your own account being disabled!"

I only think if there's proof he himself cracked or obtained these accounts through blackhat activities should his thread be locked; especially if others are doing similar things in the same section with no penalty.

 

That is in reference to the Sythe user account meaning I cannot let someone else use my account "Xolr". If this were the case then -any- account sales in -any- game would be illegal. Although, I hope you know where you're at in this particular corner of the internet. There are very few forums where commodities here are in definition "legal".

Are you a moron? We're a black market, why on earth would T.O.S of gaming companies matter to us. I can't even begin to fathom your train of thought. I.e, Jagex doesn't allow RS accounts to be sold, botting to occur and gold to be sold.

I'm not arguing whether or not if person who sold him said accounts obtained them legally or not. However, we shouldn't intervene in the market here, and then turn a blind eye to everything else. I.e rs pins/other games that allow ingame-currency to be purchased via mobile phones. We all know how that works, and Sythe himself has stated he does not wish to intervene in how the market runs. We should be pragmatic about this, and leave the market be.

In this particular instance, ignorance is indeed bliss.

 

I was actually going on about illegally acquiring the accounts... but never mind, I may know more about Steam than most of you here but it's pretty damn obvious those accounts weren't just "sold". They were taken from somewhere in the first place.

Are you asking me to prove my innocence? If that's true I'd expect it to be the same for everyone in the steam forum. I mean, if you want to get on the basic legal level then nobody owns a steam account other than Valve corp through intellectual property this making the Steam forum contradict the Steam forum rules.
