Budget Build for Girlfriend

My girlfriend decided she wanted a desktop. Basic thing, budget build. I have two old 450s that I am going to through into it so she can play Skyrim. My brother has an old 600W power supply I'm going to use. I have a case and an extra HDD for it.

Was basically thinking the following to keep it really cheap:

Thoughts?

I might be alone in this, but I prefer a combo of a SSD and HDD, just because of the fast boot, read and writing times.

 

I agree but it is an additional expense. I can ask her if she cares all that much about the speed of an SSD.

That's my thought. I was annoyed with the SLI'd 450s not giving a high enough FPS on Skyrim but she won't notice slightly lower graphics or a lower FPS.

 

I don't see a problem with this build. She should be more than happy with it.

Extra $2 gives you 2133 (after the 10% discount)... On the board it would downclock to 1833... but even still. It's a decent price from newegg and it's the Ripjaw X series, which I've found has excellent cooling. It ends 3/10 though. :|

Really nice find. I would go with this set of ram 100%, ignore my suggestion.
