DragonDyce Rank got hacked, i got scammed.

So long story short i was advertising swapping in #dragondyce irc and a hacked rank (which i didn't know was hacked at the time... -___-) pms me asking my rates. Then he says he'll buy all my eoc for 1:8 and tells me he is a rank. I didn't see him halfoped or oped in irc so i tell him make himself Halfop. He does and even confirms in #dragondyce the trade we will be doing.. I meet up with him in game etc etc, give him 49m oldschool, and about 5 minutes later AFTER I TRADE HIM MY DAMN GOLD, i have ranks pming me saying he's an imposter. Way to go. 49m down the drain.

Idk what to do here.. losing gold sales left and right, even got negative feedback on playerauctions because i didn't have gold that someone purchased.. the dragondyce owner tells me that L2, the rank that got hacked, will have to re-pay me out of his pocket for not securing his email, but L2 hasn't been online in 2 days. Tryed contacting the owner last night and it seems like hes been ignoring me or trying to get over and not refund me.. Honestly, if a rank gets hacked then i think its the owners responsibility to pay the person who got scammed back..
Any suggestions? Feeling like total shit here. ;/​

Hi. Please make a trade dispute on our forums at www.playerswap.com and the admins will decide on the outcome.

Some things you should be aware of though, our IRC topic which displays in our channel when you join specifically says that ranks will NEVER message you first asking for you to exchange gp or bet. We also have a bot that says this message every few minutes in the channel as a warning. Also, the maximum amount that ranks are allowed to exchange are listed on our sites and in every "open" message they say in the IRC

 

That's extremely unlucky. I always find myself cleaned as well, it sucks.

 

Still havent got refunded lolol.

If proof of this was presented and this is confirmed you should be refunded, no questions asked.

 

I had enough proof and discussed this with the the owner "twisted" aka Ko, and also spoke with Ali on teamspeak. Seems like they're stalling to me. im gonna go post on this forum now and see what kind of horrific response i get. 50 bucks says they try to get around refunding me LOL.

Not to be disrespectful, but thanks for no refund 5 days later. If you haven't noticed i run a gold selling/swapping shop, and that kind put a hold on everything/got me neg feedback on playerauctions because i couldn't deliver any gold due to being scammed. And to think i actually dice with you guys a lot. I didn't mean any disrespect when saying horrific response, but i haven't been getting anybody to message me back on Teamspeak/IRC. It seems as if they're annoyed. Oh well. I'm just making sure they don't forget about me.

I responded to your post 15 minutes after you made it instructing what you would need to do, your negligence to post a dispute earlier to initiate the refund process is the reason it is taking so long.

Anyway, I will be working on your dispute to get the details of everything that happened in print and decide the details of the refund.

Anyway, found out the guy was a scammer, his refund money from his dispute will be paid to his victim.
