Barely skipped classes when I was in High School/earlier on. More so because it wasn't a chore. Yes, I'd prefer to be out elsewhere at times, but because I had great friends, went to a great school, classes were fine due to the social aspect of it. Don't get me wrong, I was like every kid, wanting school to finish asap, so I could go play sports/go home/go out, whatever it be.

I'm in University at current and I skip/don't go into Uni whenever I feel like doing so. It's my choice, and ultimately my future. With that said, I'm smart about it and go to necessary classes, which would benefit me for exams and what not. I'm currently on a distinction avg for all my subjects (around 80-85%), which I'm fine with - I do get higher, and could make it a more common occurrence if I vested more time into it, but I'm satisfied with where I am.

 

I'm currently a senior in high school and I skip my 3rd period class pretty often. It's Software Engineering and i'm LITERALLY the only kid in the class. Half the time my teacher marks me present when i'm not even there. LOL.

 

I skip classes in college all the time, i still pass for the most part though and i don't know how haha..

 

No. It's more annoying to catch up than just go and learn it the first time.

 

Generally there's a bit of a difference between "learning" and "passing". If you aim to just pass, you'll probably put in the minimum amount of effort to do so. If you put in the effort to properly learn the content, then you're far more likely to get high distinctions.

 

We have a set amount of days allowed being a college student. I tend to use them up selfishly to sleep in and it never benefits me in anyway...

 

I was kicked out of my first school for missing lessons, then had to retake a year and in my final year got kicked out again. I regret it a lot now, you lose so many options when you're kicked out that it's really not worth it. Stay in school

 

I skip sometimes whenever i have Portuguese class, god damn how i hate that.

 

I usually skip my last class of the day either mcas prep or food and nutritions. what I do is call my friend up and have him meet me outside the main office and i'll just leave from the main office into his car works everytime I have no idea why the people at the main office dont say anything but they dont so it works out good lol

 

I skip school lessons very often, atleast 2-3 lessons/week. Atleast once per 2 weeks I skip the whole day

Current college for culinary arts I go too doesn't accept any absentees without reasoning. If we go under 85% attendance in the whole course, we won't be notified for our final exam, thus making us fail it/the course.

I'm in a work based learning program where I take basic classes then leave at 12. Go home and sleep till my shift at 5

Since it's only a 5 minute walk from my house to school, if
I don't feel like going to class I can just go home and chill.

 

I had almost perfect attendance until my 5th year of high school. Then it got bad lol, real bad. I can honestly say high school was a waste of time for me aside from the math. Then again maybe I just went to a crappy high school lol. All of our classes were very general like "chemistry", "physics", "english", "math".

yes, thats one of the two things i liked about school, shit it was almost like being on vacation 365 days a year compared to work, just come and go whenever u feel like it, fuck i loved it
