New bot technology

Oldschool just updated new bot technology. Be warned using Tribot right now.

As soon as I logged into the tribot client, without even running a script, I was instantly dc'd and perm banned.

Just a headsup guys


Edit: Skiller just got hit and I didn't even bot him today.

Accounts that have recently botted are getting hit too.

 

Thanks for the heads up. Has there been any other similar cases? I didn't see a news article about any new bot detection upgrades. :s

I suppose it's best that they keep them low anyway. Until I know it's safe I'll stay off Tribot for now.

 

i got banned when i logged in but bot wasnt even started lol

 

They kept it on the down-low. No announcement or anything. You can find the post in the runescape forums under Oldschool general and the thread is called Bots or something like that. It's pinned.

It happened on 2 of my accounts. Good thing nothing was on them haha.

oh wow jagex like to be low key about these things now i guess im gald i havent been botting in a few months

 

you got banned because you have previously botted, jagex cant detect the tribot client.

playing legit in the client will never get you banned.

Wold be nice if you linked to your source information about where you saw/heard about thus. I've heard a lot about it, but haven't seen anyone post their source.

Also you just got banned because you botted previously on those accounts, not because you use the TriBot client. Bans don't always happen while you're actually logged in or while you're actually botting, they are called "delayed bans".

You just got banned for previous botting you did on those accounts, not necessarily some new system or tribot being detectable.

 

What kind of botting were you doing op?

Ive been going strong on exco and no bans yet.

 

Damn this sucks, I was actually looking foward to using tribot.
