That's not true. You need a valid name valid address and a valid social security number as well and yes they verify the social you provide. If you give fake info and can't provide proof that you used the correct name address and social they will limit your account after about $100 in transactions maybe even less.

Personally, I have more than one Paypal account. So, I don't know where you are getting your information. With this said, I also don't know if their policy has changed in the last 5-10 yrs.

 

I have more than one PayPal as well. They let you have multiple accounts unless one of them gets limited once one of them gets limited they limit all related accounts until the issue is resolved. I'm getting my information from first hand experiences.

However, that does not stop the same person making a new account using, let's say, his/her uncle's information or mother's information. The person will still have "access" to both accounts even if the other one is limited. Wouldn't you agree? As for my experience, all I had to do was have a different user name, different email and a different credit/bank card. But, again, it's been somewhere between 5-10 yrs since I created a new PayPal account. The policy regarding creating a new account could have changed in the last 5 yrs.

Even if you used say your moms info for example they will limit her account aswell based on the address and even by the ip address. My account got limited like two years ago and they limited my ex gf account for having the same address and limited my moms because she logged in from my ip a few times even though we clearly aren't the same people.

 

But, I think in Psycho's case, he has a different IP address and a different physical address. -shrugs-
