How risky is buying GP?

Looking to buy some but I'm unsure on how risky/detectable it is. looking for a thought out answer not just 'no you are fine'. Cheers.

As a buyer, there is basically a nonexistent chance of them taking action on your account. 40% of active players RWT, Jagex would be retarded if they banned any of them.

 

Ban rates are low if you are buying gold. Also make sure to only buy from trusted users and look out for imposters!

 

Ban rates are low, i've seen warnings, it would normally only be long term bans for people who bought gold with the intent to sell it.

 

If you take all the necessary precautions then buying/selling gold shouldn't be too dangerous, however there is always a chance of being scammed no matter who you deal with.

 

Yeah, sorry to not be clear this on talking about jagex banning it not the fact of the chance of being scammed while buying it, i don't have the worry of being scammed because I have a friend who sells.

 

i have honestly never heard of a BUYER getting banned, only sellers.

 

I have purchased over 2b in gold, I have also sold over 10b.
I have never been caught by jagex.

 

Over the past 3 years I've purchased over $2k worth of gold, never been banned on any account to date. Jagex targets the Gold sellers, not the purchasers as they know that a large chunk of their community purchases Gold/Items.

 

I've purchased close to 10b worth of gold over the last year alone. 0 Bans

 

yes low rate of rwt ban but make sure you're very careful and check skype names properly!
