Do you skip school lessons?

Do you ever skip lessons? If so, what classes, and where do you hide? ( if you know what I mean )

 

Well I finished school sometime ago. Aside from Woodwork (I hated that) I usually went in for nearly every lesson. Sometimes I faked being sick so I didn't have to go in.

 

Lol, today I said I fell down the stairs and said I hurt my jaw. The guy told me to stay in the sick room until the bell rang to go home.

Well, when I was in highschool my friend and I would skip usually skip our first period class (it'd be something stupid... christian ethics, shop, ect..) and go to the gym followed by a waffle house (denny's, grainfields, ect...). I'm in university now, so I try not to skip shit I'm paying for, but I end up doing it regardless. It's just too damn tempting not to sleep on -.-

 

In high school I used to. (fucking P.E and other electives I was "required" to take were a joke)

University though, I do not.

 

We can't leave school. There are 3 guards that live outside the school for the day. I would go to the skatepark if I could leave school tho . That would be totally dope!

 

At high school I skipped a lot. You dont even need to turn up to be able to pass high school anyway. I missed around a month of my business class and I still got a B. I was only absent now and again at college but most resources and lessons get put online anyways and when I was at Uni and when I return to Uni I'll not be missing more than I have to.

 

I'm In first year at uni, and can't find the motivation to get out of bed and go.

Luckily - First year doesn't count towards anything in England, and next year I will be forcing my self to go in!

 

anyone from australia here? seems like all of you just skip highschool with 0 shits given, skip 1 period in australia, you get a letter/phone call straight away :O

 

Where I live, if you skip, no one gives 2 shits.

In America they can't force students to go to school so you can walk at anytime you want, most kids don't know that so when they try to leave someone will stop them and try to get them to go to class. But at my school they will give you detentions, but I've gotten 3 (15 classes skipped) and haven't gone to any of them. Towards the end of the year they will make me do a day of ISS which is in school suspension where i just do all my shit in the computer lab.

@OP all the time, usually for lunch because are school has some bullshit prison food going on lately.

I've skipped days of school hiding in a quarry, I'd see people from my school hiding there too.

 

Used to do it in high school to go play football LOL but not anymore =P

 

My final year of high school was rough as I skipped regularly. When it came to my final year of math I skipped just about every second class. It was a miracle that I passed, when I was writing my exam I didn't even recognize the last three pages of work.

Definitely made my life difficult at the end of the high school year not knowing if I would graduate or not but ultimately I did and I had fun doing it.

 

In highschool I would skip a few times a week. Other people usually influence you, convincing you the things they are doing would be better than sitting in class. Especially if you don't care for the class that you're bailing out on. Eventually it caught up to me and in the end I kind of regretted missing as much time as I did, but you can always make up for it if you really want to.

 

I never skipped classes in highschool unless I was absolutely sick.

In university you don't have to hide it if you don't go to classes, but if something causes me to miss a lecture I WILL catch up on it later (they're usually recorded). I'd like to think that me actually being there has something to do with my GPA of 6.55 (6 being distinction, 7 being high distinction). I have a friend who never attends classes and she has failed nearly half of the subjects she's taken.
