ASMR thread

This is a bit of a stretch I suppose but does anyone watch asmr videos? What are your favorite triggers?


Mine are things like wood tapping, fabric folding, tinkering with random objects (like bars of soap or leggos or keys), and massages.

 

I was thinking of creating a thread about this myself, what are the chances.

I'll leave a quick introduction to ASMR here for those who haven't heard of it:

ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) is the name commonly given to a nice distinct tingly sensation usually triggered by certain stimuli. Although it is not scientifically or medically recognized (to my knowledge), a quick google search will reveal that it is definitely a thing. Experience of it differs from person to person. Youtube videos are common triggers.

To the question -

Whispering videos (binaural especially) are my favourite. I also enjoy medical roleplays and flashlight videos.

BUMP, anyone else watch ASMR?

 

My ex-girlfriend was in to these kind of videos. Mainly whispering and/or some girl unpacking things and whispering about them. I only got it with like.. soft scratches on wood which is nice and I get it quite a lot with metal on metal - but that's not comfortable at all.

 

Yeah, a girl got me into it too. Thought it was pretty weird at first but it grew on me. I like wood tapping too
