In the thread they mention 'concepts' that have been developed by players. This is probably close to what they're talking about


As for if they should be implemented or not, I say why not. Judging by the post, their addition won't hurt anything and it's a fun, positive, update for those who have worked hard for high experience levels.

 

This is going to cause too much competition IMO and will ruin le dg cape :<

 

How is competition not a good thing?

I agree that people with the dung master capes may not be too thrilled about this idea, but I don't think it's enough of an issue to shelve the project.

 

As long as Jagex makes and adds new content to go with them I'll support (new Slayer Monsters, bars, ores, etc.).

No it isn't. I leeched it on a level 3 for a month and got 99 with little effort. Don't be so fucking lazy.

Glad that I don't play any more or that would really annoy me. I was really close to getting a max cape so that update would really fuck me off. I'd vote no.

Once I max I'm going for the Slayer one if they actually get brought out.

 

I would never go for one but I would vote yes, Sick of seeing so many max and comp capes. Seems that alot of people want to say no just because they aren't planning on trying to get one.

 

level 99 anything is no longer an accomplishment any more, at least not for me. With all the free experience being handed out like cookies and experience being so easily obtained 1-120 EOC is more like 1-99 old school. I'd vote yes, at least these capes would be somewhat an achievement.

 

But then all the 120s will laugh at my lame 99 cape

It's like the 2nd easiest skill to get 200m in lol. The 120 cape is ugly and takes very little to ever obtain lol.

I'd personally be pumped for this, got a few skills over 120 now, can be 1337 now.

 

120 master capes in certain skills HELL YES, but for others that are tedious or ridiculously expensive and time consuming, i'd have to say no. and isn't the whole "fun" part of getting a max or comp cape is the challenge of getting it? I've never come close tog eating a max cape, and forget about comp cape. but i'd support it because its fun gaining levels, and maxed combat is fun, why not add some extra levels and content?

 

your idea of tedious skills may well be different to others, I don't think they should of made DG go to 120 in the first place, but now that it has, even if the levels of other skills don't go up you should atleast be able to show off your exp.

 

I personally don't think they would be a good addition to the game. A 13 million exp grind is one thing, but 104m exp is really only bearable with dunge.

 

Some of you seem to be under the impression that you would need to get the 120 capes in order to have the comp cape. This makes me think you didn't read the Q&A, so I'll post it for you.
