If there was to be a new console put out by a new company (not Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft) would you be willing to invest and support the new brand? What issues would you have with buying the new console? Also I'm interested in what kind of specs you think it would need and what features you think would be necessary for it to succeed/cater to your needs?
No real need for one, as long as PC's will exist then we have no need for more consoles, they just need to give up on these console specific only games. Their price is too high, hard copies of disks are too much, Personally believe that everything that should be done in a similar way to steam with software available at a cheap price.
There are already so many companies making different variations of consoles, that you can get one no matter what the budget. Cheap ouya, PS4,Xbox, and then for the pricier, there's all the steam machines. In order to compete, the console would probably need to have free online like the ps3 did for people to even consider it. Personally, I don't get why consoles still exist.
u avin a giggle m9-1? I'd be willing to give it a go upon seeing it and doing extensive research with it as I do for every decent sized purchase I make. I could imagine they would have problems securing exclusives and what-not and would lack a unique selling point though.
I would suggest to buy none of the new console and stick to PC. I haves saved so much money due to the Christmas/summer sales. I have 280 games and only paid $150. I don't buy indies. I buy game like Crisis 3 or bo2 etc.
I am not really a console gamer anymore, hell I am not even really a gamer anymore. I barely play games at all.
