Was thinking if you had let's say X amount of accounts for EOC, and had a bot to have them all do the new Squeel of Fortune thing, would be profitable to run the bot daily and have it alert on which accounts hit the 200M Gold.

Possible? Doable? What do you guys think !

I used to do this manually. I'm sure there was a bot created for this.

The odds of winning 200M is really low, even with a lot of bots doing it daily. I'm sure if you stick to it everyday with a lot of accounts, you will eventually hit a big prize :) The small prizes you get would add up though, over a long amount of time.

It's nothing new. There were squeal of fortune bots before cluster-fluster bot nuke and it worked pretty good because new accounts were given 14 days of trial membership. Now it's not that good. But yeah, will you transfer stuff from for example 2000 accounts?

I sense you would be able to make 200m quicker with a few resource gathering bots instead of trying to get it with squeal (called 'Treasure Hunter' now)

Let's say you have 10 bots running everyday, collecting at least 1m a day each. That's 200m in 20 days.

With 'Treasure Hunter' you get 1 'key' a day. From what I could find in a very quick search is the *Very Rare* category has a roughly 0.1% rate of being picked. Keeping in mind the 200m doesn't always appear, we'll decrease it to 0.05% (being liberal with that). That's a 1:2,000 chance of getting the 200m. With the 10 accounts, it would take you 200 days to open chests that many times. Assuming, since you won't need all the accounts open at once, you'll have many more accounts though. So, in order to roughly get the same rates as traditional bots, you would need 100 accounts.

100 accounts, using a relatively obscure bot (more so now with 'Treasure Hunter' instead of SoF) is, in my opinion, a lot more labor intensive than merely 10 accounts running traditional bots. Even if you did manage to get a bot that auto logs into every single account, everyday, plays the game, checks for the 200m, logs out and repeats, there's still no guarantee you'd get the 200m. Also, in the same time period of 20 days, using 'TH' bots, you will always have only a 0.05% chance of the cash. Whereas with gathering bots, the percentages are probably in the 70's or higher.

So, all told, if you're considering botting, you're probably better off going with a method that's proven to be effective.

A bot for this did indeed exist and did indeed profit, I couldn't confirm if it still works with this new shit though.

you're forgetting all the other items they will get when they hit that 200m they will probably have made another 200m in just low end loots. other things you're not taking account for.

-resource gathering bots = banned very easily and often.where as this bot would almost certainly have a 0 or very minimal ban rate.

-creating these accounts gives you many many accounts to fall back on and bot with other methods if ever needed.

-there are scripts people have written just for creating new runescape accounts so it really doesn't take as long as you think.

-you can have infinite bots using this method where as gathering items you're held back by your pc's power or your wallet if you're vpsing.

-Much much MUCH less maintenance keeping bots up and running.

It's a great idea but don't expect it to be cheap unless you write your scripts yourself because the decent ones are hard to find and come at a price.

My response was written as a time & energy vs reward evaluation.

I disagree with you on the low end loots because, dollars to doughnuts, they're not that valuable. I'd guesstimate an average of 10k. That's 20k chests that'd need to be opened before you had 200m worth of loot.

Even if they get banned, if that bot made you 2m in the course of 3 days since setting it up, the probability of it having made more money in those 3 days compared to 10 Treasure Hunter bots is quite significant.

The only way this method produces worth while results is if you have a few thousand accounts logging in and out all day. If he's ready to set up that sort of operation, then all the power to him. However, in my opinion, the practicality of the whole thing seems...underwhelming.
