IRC Chat Help

I need help making my IRC chat channel.

Things i need help with:

1) Setting up the IRC
2) Adding commands to interact with the IRC.


P.S. I already have a domain and a webhost.

Are you wanting to host an entire IRC server, or are you trying to simply make a channel within an existing server?

For the former, you're going to need a dedicated host, not a web host, but a server that will house the IRC server. However, you run into the headache of ensuring maximum up time, and server maintenance.
