Returning to EOC (need help)

My current stats are : 95 attack 87 defense and 80 smiting. I was wondering what people thought was the best amour was for me. Also would you get to 90 smithing? Thoughts? Feedback?

Also what weapons would you recommend for me?

Correct me if I am wrong but I can buy a degradable form of tetsu for like 16,098,186 that will last ten hours and completely disappear. The one that last 12 hours is 4,200,000 along with having to get all the stuff to make it. It's not buyable, but it fully repairable if I went and got 90 def. While malevolent amour can be bought right now if I had 90 def for 82,376,731 coins but it can not be repaired.

Is that correct or is there something I am missing? also I have no idea about weapons but for money just give me the more decent one for cost/protections.

 

Tetsu is garbage, use bandos chestplate/tassets.

As for weapons, what's your dungeoneering level?

 

You're essentially right about Superior Tetsu (non-degradable), however, it will take you a while doing Ports to get the materials if you don't have 90 Fishing and Herblaw.

In my opinion the only plus side about Malevolent and Tetsu Armour is the HP boost but Bandos is still fine in terms of armour. I would save your money for Drygores instead.

 

Thanks for that feedback, you are correct I have neither 90 herb or fishing. I look into a bandos set I guess. How long does 60000 hits tend to last in hours?

As for weapons I'm 55 dung.

I'm sitting on like 25M but I can easily add more money with gold sellers.

 

Then you'd be better off buying gold then getting Drygores.

 

If you can buy, get torva drygores or pernix and ascensions

 

gear i would recommend bandos and a z spear/godsword untill you hit enough cash to buy drygores or dung for chatiocs

Smithing is 100% pointless, don't bother with it, what's your bank looking like at the minute? I can work out from there what you should be doing and how to do it efficiently.
