Worthless is characterized by a deficiency of demand. Jake Kastle probably priced it as worthless because it just wouldn't sell. Because it won't sell, it doesn't carry any value. I would agree with his PC on this name. PCs are based on average market values, not the value that you could get from that unique purchaser who resides as an "outlier" in the market who MAY pay 10M for it.

I really feel like these names cannot be worthless, I have had people offer to buy them off of me, I just wanted a ballpark estimate on what I should be selling them for, I guess whatever I can get will work however. I'll let you know what I get for them so maybe it can influence whatever standard you have for selling names, because I think its flawed there are other names I see that people might be willing to buy that are 'worthless'.

 

What he means is what's the point of selling a name that would take ages to sell for little profit (100k-1m Eoc).

 

I have 125m offer for ffas and 50m for lolrago. I wouldn't keep a name that isn't special in some way. Certain people might just want to add these to their collection, if not as their rsn. Well I am not actively trying to sell them, I make it known that I have them and people ask me for them sometimes. Not trying to hate on whatever system is put in place for name prices tho.

 

Personally if you had people trying to pay that much you should of went for it.

 

I'm assuming the offers you received were offers external from Sythe.org. The price checks you get on this thread are generally from experienced market users who use Sythe. On this particular market forum, those names are worthless. I would suggest that you gather your offers from your external market if you're getting "good" offers on those names. It's very unlikely that they will sell here. However; I do encourage you to make an effort if you really feel it's necessary. Just don't expect that they will sell quickly, if at all.
